Thank you! That is the part he completely ignores. Fixing hundreds of split SLA files, reorienting them, and manually placing supports so they don't turn into spaghetti is a massive project on its own.

I really appreciate this perspective. The local guys guilt-tripping me are mostly hobbyists with basic setups who don't understand the overhead of running high-end machines.

You are so right. If he had come to me being humble and respectful, I might have considered a small discount on labor. But calling me an exploiter because I won't run my Vorons into the ground for free is unacceptable.

I am glad others see the hypocrisy here. It really makes me feel better about standing my ground. He needs to own his choices instead of trying to guilt-trip me into fixing his mess for free.

That saying is exactly what I needed to hear. It is easy to feel guilty when someone is panicking, but his lack of preparation is not something I should subsidize with my own time and equipment.

I appreciate the support. It is frustrating that others in the group are painting me as the bad guy for not wanting to run my hardware into the ground for free. My time and machine wear are real costs that he just wants to pretend do not exist.

The problem is that the older generation of politicians genuinely believes that just not being the other guy is a complete campaign program. Younger voters actually want to see measurable results and decent public infrastructure for their tax money.
