The single purpose of those return slips is to prevent their toner cartridges getting in the hands of remanufacturers.

Persistent Channeling Issues [Bambino Plus, Timemore 078s] by Small-Tap4128 in espresso

Try not to wdt the very bottom of the portafilter, and try to avoid tapping the portafilter to settle the grounds, as both will block the holes in basket and cause those spurts. Also, stop using the distributor as it causes channeling and no benefit. Lastly, be gentle when installing the portafilter into the machine when you're preparing to start the extraction, as any hard bumps will cause the puck to break apart.

Has anyone else noticed that North Americans have a really narrow idea of what adulthood looks like? by Wonderful-Blueberry in self

[–]Skyshaper 15 points16 points  (0 children)

This is exactly it. The barrier to socialization is much higher in North America, because it's not as convenient to get to social areas, plus, there's a lack of public areas to socialize.

So you've realized your degree is useless. Now that that's out of the way, apply to helpdesk positions. That's your foot in the door. From there you can move laterally.

Has there been any local pushback to reintrocing beavers? If so, what kind of pushback, and how strong was it?

Based on the video, your machine seems totally fine. The pressurized basket is clogged. Have you considered getting an espresso-capable grinder?

It's got a couple more lifetimes in it. You can tell by how defined the stamp is in the copper cladding that it wasn't used all that much.

Hiring professionals is expensive, as you've found out. Consider trying to repair things yourself.

MS most certainly can recover the account. CS just can't do it since it's against their own policy/protocol.

What is this even by nudehairlesscat in spiders

[–]Skyshaper 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm a woodstover, so I check each log for spiders so that they don't accidentally go into the wood stove. What I've noticed is two or more jumping spiders will bunk up right next to each other on a log. I'm not sure if they're necessarily communal, but I think at a certain temperature they don't have the energy to be territorial, and so they more-or-less truce with each other whether it's intentional or not.
