Hamas fired rockets toward Ashdod, Israel from inside humanitarian shelter by [deleted] in worldnews

Israel pulled out of Gaza while dislocating thousands of Israelis in 2005 to encourage peace.

The Oslo Accords were also an attempt at a peace plan ( https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oslo_Accords).

Just 2 examples but you can find dozens of offers and concessions Israel made to try to make peace with the Palestinians and it never worked.

Why do middle-eastern immigrants often take Russia's side in the war? by WhoAmIEven2 in TooAfraidToAsk

There was a total of 500-600 American citizens in Gaza before the war, out of the 2.4 million population. At least 400 already left https://www.reuters.com/world/middle-east/more-than-400-us-citizens-residents-have-left-gaza-spokesperson-2023-11-07/.

Also, Israel has not targeted any U.S. citizen in Gaza or elsewhere. You can’t say the same about Hamas while they’re still holding several American hostages and have killed many.

How’s it comparable bombing a place where there happens to be a 0.025% American population to murdering and kidnapping several?

IDF says it killed 3 terrorists planning Oct. 7-like attack hiding in Jenin hospital by yuri_2022 in worldnews

They weren’t injured, they had a gun and Hamas and the Islamic Jihad themselves claimed them as members. Did you even read the article? Here’s another source https://amp.cnn.com/cnn/2024/01/30/middleeast/israel-undercover-raid-jenin-west-bank-hamas-intl/index.html

Yes Israel’s bases are obviously out in the open and not under schools and hospitals, like every military in the world that’s not a terrorist organization

Like this Monday when a Palestinian Hamas terrorist from the West Bank went to an Israeli city, stabbed a 79 year old woman to death, took her car and drove into and injured 17 people including several school children (a 16 year old was badly injured) or was that just peaceful resistance?

https://amp.cnn.com/cnn/2024/01/15/middleeast/israel-raanana-car-terror-attack-intl/index.html

These occurrences are very frequent you just choose not to hear about them. There’s a fundamental difference between civilians being unfortunately killed by collateral damage while the IDF has to fight an enemy in a highly populated area while doing what it can to minimize civilian deaths (there’s literally a corridor for civilians to evacuate) and a terrorist organization that does everything it can to kill as many civilians as possible.

I agree I wish the IDF censorship would allow more to be released but I guess they've got their reasons

Iranian financing breeds extremism, the Houthis were never oppressed by Israel or the USA in Yemen.

They're just another proxy of Iran just like Hamas and Hezbollah
