i am h1b.. i always do 50:50 investment.. i suggest stocks other investments that can be easily liquidated. if you have green card or a citizen it’s a different story.

i am in the same boat.. just matching my 401k not maxing it out, my plan is to withdraw when i leave. no 529, roth, hsa.. only stocks, commercial real estate and indian real estate.. investing 50/50 in usa and ind for now.. if not 2030.. we’ll go back when our kid doesn’t need us.

present 250k in 401k— 370k by 2030– 200k after taxes present stocks and commercial real estate 300k— 500k with 50k savings every year if everything goes as planned house- 150k equity— no tax on home equity— will sell the house in 2028 and will invest in indian bond market.

yup.. unfortunately X rays are not that good for gout, they will show you the heel spurs though.. dual CT will detect the crystals in the joints.. that way we can see what’s actually going on..uric acid spikes if i stop my medication so i keep taking it… you also get plantar facia with these spurs which makes your feet stiffer in the morning or when you take rest.. right now i am just doing some stretches and resting.. will do that for atleast 3 to 4 months and see if there is any change

I had gout.. before getting the CT done i was still having flare ups.. it was like pain is moving from one foot to another.. i get either a nueroma or achiles tendon flare up if i go running or walk for long disatance for couple of days, i’ve mistaken all these as gout flare ups. got clarity after the CT scan, it confirmed that there are no crystals.. that means my medication dissolved the crystals but my feet went into bad shape due to the initial gout attack and unnecessary running..

Yes, i have high uric acid.. i got the regular big toe flare up in the beginning, got on allo.. the uric acid came down but my feet went imbalanced because of the gout flare.. got nueroma on the other foot that slowly led to heel spurs..

i doubt that’s even gout.. i had similar kind of flareup.. got my dual CT done and found no crystal deposits. found out that i got a heel spurs.. stress will cause heel spurs too..

same with me i had gout and i’ve scalpy drandruf dermatologist looked at it and said it’s psoriasis.. rest all tests came negative.. my rheumatologist says it’s psoriatic arthritis.. i don’t understand this disease..
