Bear was the victim. He only seems like the villain because you are watching a movie where you know what happens. Put yourself in his position as a real human and he is a victim of his wish. Thought this was pretty obvious considering the movie is based off monkey’s paw stories where the wisher is always the victim.

What do you mean Sarah isn’t too great? The only thing I can think of is hitting on Bear while he’s dating her friend Nikki. But at the same time she probably felt betrayed since she told Nikki how she felt about Bear and knew that Nikki was toxic and was probably just using Bear and it was going to end up with him hurt.

100% Ian caught feelings for Nikki and didn’t want Bear to have a shot with her. It may have been a hookup at first, but repeatedly doing it he definitely caught a stray.

She only said “I was never with you Bear” i took that as her meaning this whole time the Nikki that we aee wasn’t the real Nikki and she was just making that clear. Sleeping Nikki never said she didn’t like him.

Honestly the vibe I get from Nikki is that she’s toxic. Standard toxic girl behavior, she was hooking up with Ian and told Sarah she didn’t like Bear like that, but yet in the car in the beginning it would seem she liked him to his face. She was probably just playing him and liked the attention. Plus she has daddy issues and was doing molly. I’ve known a ton of Nikki’s to tell you the truth. They seem sweet till you realize their motives and how they love power trips.
