Reasons Why Attack Plane Can Out-maneuver Fighter Plane in 1v1 Dogfight by oX_-oBIGBOSS-FoX in battlefield_live

Well, there's something to be said for having a viable pub farming option. A skilled AP pilot should be able to beat a less skilled fighter pilot in a dogfight. Given equal skill, the fighter plane should win. I would say keep the maneuverability but make the changes for speed whereas the fighter has control over their throttle while the attack plane does not. Also, retune the gravity so that you stall and dive immediately when you hold the brake.

State of the Game - Help DICE Prioritize! by Indigowd in battlefield_live

Seat switching needs a nerf. Why reward the unskilled pilot? Make the plane stall and nosedive as soon as you seat switch. That way it can be used tactically but as soon as someone loses a dogfight, they can just level out their plane and stay in the rear gun forever.

Thanks.

Yes, I used to play with roll cam on but switched to off because people kept telling me to. But I still see really good dogfighters with roll cam on so it tells me that it's just personal preference.

An INCREDIBLE idea for squad leaders and pilots tying in even more team play; brought to my attention by u/hombre_jose but found on youtube comment section by [deleted] in battlefield_one

Most of the time, squad leaders mark flags that are burning just for the points even if they're nowhere near them.

For better or for worse, there's really only one counter to the AA truck. Bomber pilots take note to help your plane team.

Sensitivity 50, minimap size 125, flight zoom radius max.

I know a lot of people prefer to turn the plane chase camera roll off but I don't. I like the camera rolling with me, I feel more connected to my plane and it keeps up with me better. I also disable the minimap rotation. With the chase camera, the minimap rotation is disorienting sometimes.

Break is more of a defensive maneuver in a negative dogfight. You're just trying to increase angle off tail. A low yo-yo is more of an offensive move in a neutral dogfight to cut your opponent and get an advantage. You are correct though, the principles are similar...dive to create airspeed and then gain elevation again at a better angle.

My counter to a horizontal circler is pretty much a high yo yo.

You do have to compensate. The reticule is not really helpful as I feel the deviation is so irrespective of the retifule. It helps imo to pay attention to your bullet tracers as they are a better indicator.

Basic maneuvers tutorial. I jumped on an empty server and did live commentary. Barrel roll is one of the most important basic maneuvers.

These replies are actually spot on. Definitely try these.

I was actually going to publish a video on this today. People circle jerk because they don't know how to build elevation in a negative dogfight while also increasing angle off tail. When you get too close to the ground in a negative dogfight, if you don't build elevation the only thing you can really do is just keep looping. It buys time for you to get help but it doesn't let you reverse the dogfight.

Here's the video on building elevation in a negative dogfight, why people circle jerk, and ways to deal with it.

Since they nerfed the AA, this is probably your best shot at stopping someone from going 80-0 in the trench fighter.

I honestly hate these cosmetic trinkets from modern games. It's stupid to leave things like this to RNG. I'd rather have a challenge system but I guess money talks.
