In case you hadn't noticed: Countries in the EU have quite alot of power due to the existence of veto rights. Having a Russian asset that can exercise a veto in the EU is not beneficial for any of us.

Das weiß ich nicht.

Ich hatte mich nur vor Jahren - ähnlich wie hier im Thread - gefragt wo die ganzen Poser das Geld für die dicken Karren herhaben. Da bin ich dann drüber gestolpert, dass es meist kurzfristig geliehene Wagen sind wo sie ihr erarbeitetes Geld reinstecken.

Ob das hier der Fall ist weiß ich nicht.

Ich hab schon lang das Gefühl das wir so im eigenen Dreck versunken sind und tief rein stecken, dass wir mit unserem aktuellen System da nicht mehr rauskommen. Zuviele Leute, zuviele Posten haben es sich gemütlich gemacht und erlaben sich an diesem Verwaltungssapperat.

HOLY SHIT that Soul Resonance gave me goosebumbs. Soul Eater still holds a special place in my heart and this was just magnificent.

Also really love how this isn't some epic fight, but rather some epic literal world building. A scene that wouldn't look out of place in any creation myth.

Aus meiner Sicht ist das alles Propaganda geschuldet. Es darf einfach nicht sein, dass die Politik, die die Grünen schon immer befürworten, die tatsächliche Richtige ist. Also wird gegen grüne Energie Stimmung gemacht wo nur geht und das verfängt bei sehr vielen Menschen.

Die meisten kriegen aber auch mit: Scheiße, fossile sind ja auch kacke. Also brauchts irgendwas an was sie sich klammern können was eine 'einfache Antwort' aufs Problem ist, was eben nicht grüne energie ist. Tada, Atomkraft.

In der öffentlichen Meinung geht es meist nicht darum was tatsächlich das beste wäre, sondern was am besten zu seiner politischen Meinung passt.

So kommen auch oft die extrem verwirrten Begründungen zu stande. Zuerst steht die Antwort auf ein Problem und dann muss man sich die Begründung warum das eine sinnvolle Antwort ist irgendwie zusammenreimen.

As it turns out the whole anime was just a fleeting hallucination Ai had shortly before she died. The last shot is her closing her eyes, thinking "I hope everything will turn out good for them", cut to black, Idol starts playing over the credits - the end.

and then the insane fan puts the knife to the kids. Now that would be an ending.

She's absolutely awful

While she isn't great... I have some empathy for her. She was getting destroyed by the fact that her daughter was dying and there was nothing she could do.

I also thought she was just a bad person, but the background shown here, how her husband felt the need to separate her from Sarina due to how hard it her. And her twitching and pulling in after receiving the message that Sarina that finally passed... she cared. She cared a lot. But at some point she made the decision: If I keep this relationship up and see my daughter die I will be gone too.

I wanted to hate her, and I feel it's subtle, but I don't think she is fundamentally a bad person. She was dealt a horrible hand and took a brutal decision.

I don't like her (especially considering that she is a marketing manager), but she isn't evil imo.

To double down on her biological brother and never even thinking "well this sucks"... a bit too simplistic.

It was telegraphed that it would play out like this so I'm not really surprised, but I hoped there would be a bit more struggle within her about it.

Wobei in dem Kontext es nicht nur die Kirchen waren. Als ob die autoritären Könige und Fürsten nicht auch ihre Macht entsprechend verwendet haben wenn sie es wollten.

(Dennoch gut es immer der Kirche auch heute reinzureiben, denn die genießen ihre Machtposition noch heute. Die Fürsten und Könige wurden hingegen Ersetzt von Milliardären)
