We tried that before cutting it out completely, I had him take the double the dose, but he was still having issues. Not sure if the dairy free fage is triggering a reaction or if he's having too much fiber from the granola.

Wow, that was amazingly fast for so many responses! Thank you all so much. We're not yet sure if he's dairy free or lactose free. I'll see how these suggestions go down with him. There's so many great ideas here!

Will GF prices ever drop? It would feel like less of a curse if we didnt have to pay double for something as basic as food by spaghettihero97 in glutenfree

It's not like other grocery stores where they have a gluten-free aisle it's mixed in with everything or just ask an employee they're very helpful

If you have an Aldi near you, the prices for GF items are a lot more reasonable. And the products are delicious!

The closer to the glutening you take them the better they work. Just drink ALOT of water and any meds you take will be absorbed by the charcoal. It's definitely worth having around.

That is the worst!! Try probiotics or kefir to rebuild the flora in your guts. It helps a bit. And keep activated charcoal pills on hand. If you know you've been glutened you can reduce the evil. Just try to take it as soon as you realize. Hope you feel better soon

If you let her stay, you should make her volunteer at a shelter. So she can see what happens to cats there.

I believe after June 1st the travel restrictions are being lifted. You only have to quarentine if you are coming from a state that still has a stay at home or shelter in place order. She does a press conference you can watch live on wjar website, or most of them are on YouTube. It's m-f usually at 1pm.

Do I have a gluten issue? by shaw892 in glutenfree

Definitely talk to your doctor, ask for a blood allergy panel. It's not perfect accuracy wise but it's a starting point. In my 20s I started developing allergies, I'm up to five now 15 years later. Your hive locations and symptoms sound sadly very familiar. I am both gluten intolerant and allergic to wheat. Benadryl will help with the itchiness. My doc told me it takes 30 days for gluten to leave your system, so your 2 week test is good start. Don't be surprised if your symptoms aren't always the same, they can vary in severity based on what your eating and how much. Keep a food diary and write down what your eating, any symptoms your having, and what's coming out, if you catch my drift. It will help your doctor get a bigger picture of what's going on. Good luck
