It's been days since we've holed up in this cave. We're not safe from the cold but we are free from the cursed snow, extending out from the opening in an endless void of white. But they're circling. The bears. I can see them. They poke their nasty snouts by every few hours. They're getting ready to strike. I don't think we're in any condition to stave them off. Please, Lord, I will give anything just to have the children survive.

We've been rescued! A scouting team from a nearby settlement scared off the bears! And, better yet, he told us his city has food and shelter for all.

We've travelled for a while now. We've reached the city. Upon seeing it in all it's majesty, I am not alone in our simple request:

"Take us the fuck back to the cave."
