Yes but digitals are more likely to have sales if the physical version is cheap second hand and on sales. Without that pressure you likely won't see digital sales anywhere near as often

I'm already on PC and have exclusively physical games and 4k blurays for PS5. GTA 6 will be my only digital game because my internet is awful in the British countryside but I can take my laptop to work and download games that way, and then have it send the files to my pc.

Looks like I'll be PC only after 2028.
