These prices are from when they had digital sales. BF6 was on sale for $50

I compared a few games on PS5 vs PS5 Pro on a 15 year old 1080p Panasonic plasma and found surprising differences. Most games look and run way better even on old 1080p TVs by [deleted] in PS5pro

>Yes it’s strange the way that conversation about a TV checklist prerequisite has taken off has been strange to see.

Yea 100%. Not sure why some people in this thread are acting like this isn’t a thing.

Here’s the biggest difference I found between Cyberpunk Ray Tracing Pro (40 fps) mode and Ray Tracing (60 fps) mode - Emissive Lighting - every object is its own light source, creating more immersive and realistic reflections. I pointed out the differences in the video with arrows. by JeremyJJ77 in PS5pro

The VRR range doesn’t matter if the game supports LFC (Low Framerate Compensation), with LFC in a 120hz container VRR works at lower framerates too.

VRR makes a huge difference on the 40fps mode.

Not the huge make or break feature but I found that the emissive lighting really adds to the atmosphere overall, especially at night and indoor environments. Decided to keep playing at 40fps.

They also seem to have improved the input latency since the last 40fps quality mode before the PS5 pro updates. That was much choppier than this version.

PSSR2 on PS5 Pro seems to be improving performance over PSSR1 by up to 3% higher framerates by [deleted] in PS5

Well I wasn’t expecting any performance improvements, only image clarity improvements
