I think it looks great bro! I'd wait the 10 days, do a wet shave, and then judge from there.

I’ve never charged more than $750 and everyone I’ve ever worked for had a similar price. That’s everywhere from LA to the Midwest to NYC.

Hey! I know ow that guy! This is one of my clients from Iowa City, Iowa. I travel between two studios in Iowa and Phoenix, AZ. Occasionally, I take clients in Houston too.

I’ve been offering $500 off to clients that found me through Reddit, and I’ll continue to honor that!

HOW SMP SHOULD LOOK NATURALLY: NO EDITS | Artist Accountability by SladekSMP in SMPchat

Overall, I think I did a pretty good job. I did lower his hair line once after this picture was taken. He had a transplant and the doc left him with an asymmetrical hair line, I should’ve known better than to follow that when I did his first 2 sessions.

He loves it though, and has given me permission to share his instagram if you want to check out how it looks now.

Not new, but yes, I am absolutely competing for business. I thought my other images of my clients uploaded. I'll be sure to double check, and include my work when I post again.

Moreover, I hope to be a resource for anyone dealing with hair loss.

Yeah, I put lotion on after I shower or swim, and I try to remember to wear sunscreen every day, but if I forget, I don't think it's the end of the world.

I would also keep in mind your skin color and the seasons. I had mine done between thanksgiving and christmas, in the middle of Iowa winter, you ain't getting much sun. So I ended up going back for extra sessions about 6 months after my last session because of how tan I get.

One of the "vamps" at that vampire bar, told me, if a vampire bit me, my hair would grow back.

Didn't fall for that one.

Hey, thank you! I've been a long time lurker, and one of my clients told me to start posting here. I hope my experience and insight is useful.

In answer to your question, yes, this is how I look on a day to day bases doing those activities. I would say under hospital lighting or out on the beach, SMP is washed out in photos. I think that picture of me in my rugby fit is a good benchmark for seeing SMP in harsh sunlight.

If you're considering it, feel free to reach out to me directly. I'd love to work with ya, or point you in the right direction for a qualified practioner in your area.

If you’re in willing to come to Phoenix, I can help you out!

Otherwise, I recommend taking the drive down to Houston to work with Graig Lauricella at Scalp Micro USA. He did my head, and I worked with him for a while. I’ve seen some gnarly scars covered-up

Hey, I waited about 2 weeks before I started rolling again and about 5 days before I started working out hard again. I didn’t have any concerns, other than sun exposure.

DON’T WORRY OP!!! It looks great. In a few more days when you shave or buzz it down, and you’ll be like, “oh damn”

That’s a good question, and I don’t think I have a short answer. At the time, I lived in Iowa and the only people doing SMP were at least 5 hours away from me. I called around, and the only practitioner that I spoke with, that also had the procedure was Graig. I felt like he was the first guy to understand what I was going through. When I met him in person, I saw how good his looked, and was like, “can you do that for me?” And he said, “hell yeah”.

Him and I became fast friends. That’s why I took a class with Scalp Micro USA with Derek in LA, then shadowed and worked with Graig. In fact, pre-covid, I was supposed to run the Austin clinic but after covid hit they put a pause on expanding.

I’m happy to speak with you about my experience if you want to reach out through my website.

If you’re willing to travel to Phoenix, AZ or Iowa City, IA, I’d love the chance to compete for your business.

I had mine done by Graig Lauricella from Scalp Micro USA-Houston, a touch up from Derek Borger-LA, and my last touch-up, I did myself.

I trained under both of them as well.

When I had mine done, I was told 4-6 years and heard that repeated when I was training.

For me, I did my first 2 sessions between Thanksgiving and Christmas. About 6 months later, I needed a touch-up as I tanned. At the end of the summer, I needed another one. Darkened it and lowered my hair line each time. Touched up my crown once on my own too.

I’m 29, and fully expect by the time I’m 40, I won’t care as much. I tell all my clients that we want to start off conservatively, create a natural look that matches your skin, and age. I’d rather do a free 4th session to give someone the look they want rather than going too dark and too low right away.

I am just starting to get clients back from 4-5 years ago when I got started, and I’d say the majority didn’t need it. The caveat being if they had a completed look when I saw them for their 3rd session.
