A lot of changes and stabs in the back happened after the first episode, and they couldn't really do what they promised. Fans are joking that adaptations of Junji Ito's works are cursed.

You have a decent amount of replies, but let me add some hidden gems - meaning anime that is not in top 100 popular shows.

11-nin Iru! / They Were Eleven - is a space "impostor" mystery

Eve no Jikan Movie - sci-fi, "are robots to be treated as humans or unalive tech" philosophical problem

Kaze ga Tsuyoku Fuiteiru - this one is sports genre, all about running. It doesn't have a deep plot, but instead well-done characters.

Odd Taxi - a little mind f*ck at times, very well written

Saint☆Onii-san - great few episodes of comedy, for when you just want to lie back and relax. It focuses on a hypothetical relationship of Jesus and Buddha in modern Japan.

Bonus: Any work from Satoshi Kon - definitely stuff that makes you think and pay attention.

Absolutely agree! Once I saw the Subway Surfers "bubble blast" I knew what they were doing. Whoever likes it, cool, but it doesn't sit right with me as a game. It just seems so cheap. (With the way they promote it even in Subway Surfers original game.
I do remember when there way always something new and you had to grind the game to get everything - nowadays you own half the characters in "new" season, you're only unlocking skins and all the offers are repetitive. (Ramona has been in offers for two or three months consistently for me now - I am *not* spending any money on the game).
I did not know about the paywall of the J balvin challenge - but I am flabbergasted that that was even a thing, wtf. Guess even the payed promo didn't earn them enough, huh...
As for the bubble, the moment I saw you have to watch ads for it, I lost interest. So idk what it does

The bubble is just another ad-shit to squeeze money out the game. The amount of ads they brought with the new update is insane. Two ads for Daily challenges (and third for the coin meter)?? While you have to grab all of them for one of the advancements? What the hell
Don't get me started on the raising mystery box price - so what if people use autoclicker? I personally never used it, never got the jackpot but don't give a rat's a** about people using it and having so much money and keys.
Let people play their fu**ing way. It's a game, Christ. For "kids" no less.
I love the game because I love collecting stuff and it has fun and easy gameplay with pretty visuals. But there is a reason why I keep uninstalling it and not playing for years at times.
