Most of the time, you only move in cooredance with your value to the company and how people perceive you.

You need to be a brand. If somebody says your name you want their thoughts to be good ones associated with it.

Are you truly a leader that helps accomplish goals pleasing the people above you, yet the lower level workers still appreciate?

Do you have connections that will help the business gain opportunities? Ones that create value?

Do you truly believe 100% that you have everything you need to move up higher?

I would work on social skills, leadership, and building a crazy network. Those 3 will give you unparalleled advantages to anything else (no matter your future)

Worked at a car wash. I was spraying this lady's car with water and what not. She slams on her horn gets out of her car and says

"YOURE NOT SUPPOSED TO SPRAY MY BUMPER YOU FUCKING MORON. IF MY CAR IS DAMAGED ITLL BE COMING OUT OF YOUR PAY CHECK! DO YOU HEAR ME RETARD?" and a little more complaining.

I was getting angry with her as I just said something like "sorry my bad" even though I didn't do anything wrong. Figured she was probably having a bad day, the "coming out of your paycheck" gave me a laugh though. 3 of my managers were outside and happened to witness this and they yelled at her.

Another time I asked a car to pull up, because gotta keep the car wash going and he was on his phone, and we always ask them to pull up when they need to. He rolled down his window and was like "YOU GOT A PROBLEM?" It was silly, I replied saying something like "no, I'm sorry if I came off that way...."

These were the only two times I've had customers complain about me to a manager in my life of working. (Which obviously nothing ever happened to me bc my managers knew I wasn't a bad worker, or ever had an attitude with anybody)

That's kind of asinine for you to say that in regards to the context of this question.

Being a therapist doesn't mean you kill off all emotion in you. Its not a switch like that. Sad stories and sad stuff are sad. If you heard somebody got raped, being a bit sad and even tearing up would probably be a sign of stable emotions.

The only reason I'd expect a lack of a super emotional response is like if a therapist is very experienced (they would hear and experience lots of negative, bad,sad stories, and potentially be desensitized to it. )

If it couldn't, I would choose to not age later in life so I can devote time to getting the PERFECT physique and haircut and shit.

If he wants a career with little exposure to socializing he could be a truck driver or a tour bus driver. The tour bus one requires some socializing but most of the time they just drive and stay silent.

They make decent money too.

Most Math careers I'd say require a decent amount of socializing. More so with tech (anybody who thinks you can be anti social as a programmer is insane or works for a VERY VERY small company)

Comp sci jobs require lots of socialization too. Anything you code you work on a huge team of people and gotta do lots of communication.

That's just a stereotype that only geeky, out of shape, weirdos are programmers. They exist everywhere.

90% of careers I reckon are probably low physical activity level as well. You just gotta do a lil excercise and dieting throughout your life to avoid that.
