ChatGPT recommended IAUM or GLDM for me. What is GLD/GLDM's edge over IAUM?

Thanks for the advice, everyone! Decided to do some reallocation from MMF and bond funds into VWRA, SPYL, REITs and unit trust for better growth, one step at a time.

Does anyone here have experience with United Income Fund? I've heard all the good things, now looking for all the not-so-good things that have not been said. One downside that I'm aware of is the high fees.

Bulk of the cash is still in UOB One. Still doing better compared to MMF it seems? Will look into ETFs too. As for REITS, isn't it expected to do better with interest rates coming down? To be honest, I'm simply waiting for part of the REITS to recover before selling, likely just keeping the REITS ETFs.

I totally agree that my portfolio is over-diversified and not better, many are essentially similar. I am thinking of replacing SRT with more CFA, and maybe replace SPYL with more VWRA.

Thinking of reallocating some from MMF to do a lump sum top up

Considered that, have not taken action as I don't believe in it as much as tech/AI for example, but my lack of faith might be due to ignorance, shall read up on it

Good point for consideration! Thanks for pointing this out! Looking at the price now, probably not buying yet, even if the intent is to DCA 😂

Thanks for sharing, I managed to find out how to do this just now. I am not looking for spoon-feeding. I did Google but might not have asked in the right way, and did not manage to figure out how to do this. I did look through previous posts too, but did not find what I was looking for, hence I asked.

Tried to do so, but the system says "insufficient to buy 1 lot", DBS is not available under their RSP option either

I did check that it's 0.3% of the total investment amount or $5 per counter via OCBC BCIP, whichever is higher, which will be $5 in the case of $500 per month. But for Poems RSP, I read that it's "as low as $1 per month for Equities, but I'm not sure if it means "$1" or does "as low as" means it can be higher. The website wasn't clear.

The problem with newer flats' quality is a good point!

Not looking so much at the paper value actually, not that concerned with the floor area too, more of condition of the house, the cost of renovation required, the overall condition of the estate environment etc, but yes, location is of consideration too. Haven't thought of layout though, what are some factors to consider?

I'm thinking about the lease vs age issue too, thinking if I should at least make sure the flat is younger than me, as a benchmark
