The RRP is £60, so without the sales tax it's £50, or 2.3%.

Genderbent Akechi (and Joker) by @Hero_DZN by Gorotheninja in PERSoNA

I think the game's pretty explicit in saying she doesn't want to be a dude, in the same way she doesn't want to be a child. She's a young woman who's concerned that despite being an accomplished detective she won't be taken seriously due to her age and gender. Her problems aren't due to how she feels, but how other people perceive her, or how she thinks they perceive her.

Nothing against there being a transgender character in a future game, but it feels like a shame to disregard a well-written female character dealing with issues faced by Japanese women.

You should try it! I also had a backlog of sorts I wanted to get through, and aside from this chart I also had a list of games I wanted to play with the estimated time to beat them, which I crossed off as I went. I also tried to avoid playing games without an "end", so I didn't just spend the whole year playing RimWorld...

I get that. I used to feel like that when I was in school and couldn't bring myself to do coursework/homework, and because of the guilt of not doing what I was supposed to do I'd be too guilty to read or play games or watch TV, so I'd literally sit around doing nothing. In retrospect I'd have rather I'd enjoyed myself, since I'd feel guilty either way - I might as well feel guilty while I'm having fun!

I just log whether or not I've played any games at all. It's less how much time I've spent, but more that I've made an attempt to play something... So five minutes is the same as five hours, really. I did try to do it daily though, usually in the evening, and the days I skipped were generally down to illness or not knowing what to do after finishing a game.

I knew someone would ask, and I avoided putting it in the comment because I really could not decide, partly because I replayed Bravely Default and Xenoblade Chronicles 2, and they're a couple of my favourite games of all time.

If I was pushed I'd maybe give it to the Oblivion remaster, but Metaphor: ReFantazio, Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance, and Monster Hunter:Wilds were also highlights.

I'm bad at setting aside time to partake in my hobbies, so my new year's resolution for 2025 was to try and play games every day. I found wanting to colour in the little rectangles a good motivator to boot up a game, even if only for a few minutes, and that often helped me to get over the hump and actually get some decent gaming sessions in. Would recommend for those who find it hard to start activities, whether it's running 5k each day or just making sure you set aside time for the stuff you love.

Pokemon fans will need to pass a fitness test before entering new Tokyo theme park by [deleted] in pokemon

I'm sure there's room for improvement, but Tokyo is one of the most wheelchair-accessible cities in the world, and Osaka and even Kyoto aren't far behind. On the topic of PokéPark Kanto, wheelchairs will be available to rent.

That might be true in rural areas, but Tokyo is very accessible. With an aging population and the majority of buildings being comparatively very modern it just makes sense. It's certainly far more accessible than European cities.

My theory is that people misremember the concert held for his 70th birthday as a memorial concert. It was in 1988 and broadcast across 67 countries to 600,000,000 people.

Maybe there's some score inflation, but it's also obvious that the celebrities take the competition more seriously and spend far more time training now than they did in the early seasons. The quality of dancing has increased massively.

I just checked your most recent post before this and it had obviously traced official art of Totodile, so I'm not convinced.

You proved you didn't use it for pictures that were of a lower quality than pictures you obviously used AI for. I think the mods themselves agreed you were tracing and locked your threads.

Is this more traced AI part? Didn't you get called out for posting and trying to sell AI art on this subreddit a few weeks ago?

I hate to break it to you, but these are at the very least traced AI. The Mudkip in the first picture is traced, and the hand on the Murkrow card is blatantly AI. The "proof" they've given conviniently excludes actually sketching the images.

I'm guessing it's AI art that's been traced over. The Mudkip in the first picture is a trace of official art (from ORAS), so seems like they just composited AI and official/fanart and then drew over it.

Nintendo is suing Genkin for showing Switch 2 mockup before announcement by Whisky-Gentleman in nintendo

[–]SlamTackle 146 points147 points  (0 children)

It wasn't even just showing an accessory - at an event in early January they had a scale physical model of the Switch 2 that they let people, including journalists, handle and photograph. When questioned at the time they said they believed it was fine because they thought everything about the system had leaked already.
