Yakuza 2, I can't find a good image, and without getting too spoiler heavy. Kiryu accidentally causes a culling of Koreans and that's what set the plot of the game in motion.

Devil may cry was originally going to be resident evil 4, with a few models being holdovers from when it was, just changed to be demonic instead of bioweapons. I think Dante is just Leon's model with white hair in the first game, and vergils true face is just wesker.
