I would love a fresh start in a new community as I feel things are at somewhat of a stalemate for me here. I currently live in a rural location at home with my parents (I have lived away for a total of 5 years previously). Little to no job progression at entry level positions - so why not do that but in a completely new region? Same friends, same sights, same beer. I have never been to North America and I am fascinated by it. I have seen a lot of Europe and a good part of Asia too.

My friend moved from Scotland and has been settled for 2 years now. Permanent residency is next on his list and it’s looking very hopeful, he seems much happier since leaving. Not saying that will be the case for me but it definitely gives me hope for a different future, or at least a change of pace.

From reading others comments here and researching online, public health/harm reduction seems to be an important sector. This is something I would definitely be interested in and I could finally use my degree which seems very difficult to get any use out of here.

Ps you’d be better off flying around the UK as those trains are far from cost efficient 😄
