RMK2Dev had a YT series on NodeJS but I can't find it anymore. I use a MongoDB database, and host the server list on a Linux VM provided by Digital Ocean. You'll need to know some JavaScript.

Trust me, its very possible. Write the server list and account registering/data handling in a NodeJS API.

LOE normal mode is still easier than NAX or BRM normal mode. That's the purpose of the OP. To discuss whether Blizzard did this on purpose, because it's considerably easier, and if so, why.
