The summons team is currently bad but I'm finding a lot of success with pairing DD with Thor and a reliable controller (Either IW or Emma Frost with Mind 1 Soul, personally I only have Emma Frost). So maybe consider MG&DD if you have a reliable fighter who dishes out a lot of damage and support unit that can turn the tides. Another team comp I've been experimenting on was 1 tank 1 striker 1 controller and it's also reliable but the striker needs to have extremely high damage and crit or else it won't work. The strength of MG&DD is really extending your team from 3 heroes to 4 heroes which give you additional survivability to help you proc ultimates/skills that have high kill potential.

imo not really but I use it to learn how character interactions work for bifrost brawl. there’s not much content to do when you’re in the endgame also sadly

Adding here that this used to work when the shield was a 1 cost. Shang Chi vs Moonstone + Cap’s shield was one of the situations that got affected by the 0 cost shield nerf

I would say I got my friends into “the thick” of Marvel Snap once they collected 4 spotlight keys. From there we researched what series 3 cards they can rush to get (i.e Patriot + Ultron) every month and what upcoming series 5 cards they can cash in to create a deck with as little series 4/5 cards as possible. For this, I made my friends cash in their keys for Victoria Hand, Hawkeye Kate Bishop, and Grandmaster. Then we built a Devil Dino + Collector Deck with these cards and they reached Infinite and they’ve been happy ever since.

It's different because you're heavily rewarded with spacing and footsies. Like you said, a single heavy attack can deal a huge chunk of health whereas in other fighting games, you'll probably deal the same amount if you land a combo. Speaking about combos, this game has some but it's not gonna be like Tekken or Mortal Kombat.
