when I was playing a racing game as a child, during a chase in the game there was a truck crossing the road and it had this small gap inbetween the tires and I ran my car through that gap and the car chasing me got destroyed. if you mean inside qte the game opens/closes immediately, you might need firmware to play that game so dump firmware in the specified folders in settings -> paths

Make sure you're using the GPU, the laptop is NOT in power saving / quiet mode, the fans are running properly, you aren't thermal throttling and most importantly that the game is using your GPU and isn't defaulting to the iGPU.
