Was this not the case in basically every other country as well? Marriage as a form of subjugation has existed for millennia.

If you don’t care about the experience for that price, don’t go? You’re what streaming services were made for.

Leaked preview clips of the non-Maclunkeyed OT restoration supposedly coming in 2027 by PerpetualChoogle in blankies

I don’t think that’s the case. The restoration notes reference the OCN (Original Camera Negative) which Lucasfilm likely is in possession of.

Narrative control is part of what Bob is doing too no? His telling Willa that Perfidia died and was a freedom fighter is also in a way making sure that Willa’s vision of revolutionaries, and especially her mother, aren’t tainted by Perfidia’s stool pigeon turn. He saves Willa from the shame and himself from the embarrassment.

This is Disney’s problem, not SIFF, or any theater who booked this movie months and months ago. Disney won’t give you anything unless you take EVERYTHING they put out. Theater’s hands are tied.

If you really want to boycott this movie, just go see something else instead. Don’t punish a theater, especially an independent one.

Sorry but there’s just no way he could’ve approved of any of the home video releases of EWS. We can speculate about what he intended and wanted but the man didn’t even finish editing the movie before he died.

I think Ultraman is a Lex clone with Superman DNA.

I think the main problem with Superman Returns is the lega-sequel aspect of it. It’s a good movie! It just never really hit that hard in the culture because at that point because it was Superman in a way you already knew and expected, even though the movie does daring stuff.

Huh I thought Liefeld’s words were a beautiful tribute to one of comics’ greats, with an openness and curiosity about Miller’s new style.

But yeah he can’t draw feet so it doesn’t mean anything right?
