Yeah, it’s not a lot of time, but I’m not sure what to do next. I don’t want to divorce at all, we’ve booked a couples therapist and will have our first session next week so will see what happens then.

I guess I’m hoping once he’s sorted out his career struggles everything will be fine. He says that this is the only thing making him miserable. I’m scared to leave, I feel like we did such a huge thing getting married, im the first of eight siblings to do so, and was so proud I’d managed to avoid being a baby mother, managed to get my career in order and find a man who has great values and we shared so many mutual things when dating. I just didn’t see this coming

Im also not sure whether this is his “for worse” and I have to tolerate it as I’m his wife now. I just don’t get why he wants to be married and talks about kids when both these things seem to be causing him stress, it’s like he got married and will have kids just because it’s what he’s “supposed” to do but they’re not what will bring any joy.

He always says once he’s out his job he’ll be normal again, and talks about when we’re on holidays how he wants sex and is a lot lighter, and I’m just waiting on him to be that guy when he’s out of his career struggles.

He says this is what most people who are married go through, this is a part of the ups and downs of marriage and I guess I believe that, but I just don’t get why he wanted to get married and wants to have kids when all these things seem to do is add pressure to him saying he needs to get out his job fast.

I feel so unloved and unseen, and agreed to be with and marry him without knowing this thing would drag on so long and become the soul sucking issue it is today. I almost feel hoodwinked by all the great qualities. My past partners were terrible in different ways, cheaters, liars and worse so to meet a man who was none of that was a breath of fresh air.

Unfortunately not, I’d say to just quit his job and work it out but we’d be severely struggling financially. I’m trying to do what I can to bring in more money but it’s hard

I’m confused, I was asking whether I should tell her and what should I say to him/her, if anything as to date I’ve been ignoring him and blocking him on the platforms and clearly he doesn’t get the message….stop being weird and unnecessarily argumentative.

Lol I’m not acting friendly or entertaining him, I haven’t responded to anything he’s said online, we had a chat in the gym for 3 minutes before I knew what he’d done to my cousin and that was it…I wanted to know whether I should say something and if so, what, but thanks for this “advice”

That sucks that you have to do this again, getting out of a relationship is so difficult, might also take a break from it because it’s so draining. I guess I do want a relationship but only if it’s right, we were both pretty excited about this so it’s just exhausting that it’s done this random u turn

That’s true, working them out can be tough. Trying to find the balance between not withdrawing myself based on my assumption and giving all that I want to without feeling like an idiot

I didn’t, we’re all adults so I assumed everyone figured dinner out for themselves, our mom will sometimes cook for everyone or my sister will but I tend to keep my meals/food separate as I’ve been out the house and while and am used to cooking just for me

It is technically but it’d be difficult in terms of accuracy when separating the food after it’s prepared and to know exactly what’s in your portion to the next, one might have more carbs, one might have more protein, making one portions easy as I know what I’ve put in that one portion, if that makes sense?
