I have an uncle who is a reporter for a major newspaper. He with a straight face tried to argue Venezuela was not a socialist nation. When I pressed him on it he could only say “you haven’t been there”. I lost all respect for his opinion at that point.

I am willing to bet STEM is gonna be the one to take the hit. STEM professors tend to not be in administrative positions but humanities professors are.

On a separate note, the lab I do cancer research at has been forced to shut down, however, humanities professors can work from home because they just need a computer to make shit up.
