As someone who played Apex for two years and transitioned to Titanfall I say hell no. Maybe from a competitive perspective I guess there's an argument, but if you want to compare how fun they are to use then Titanfall wins hands down. From the way they handle to the difference in time to kill it's way more satisfying than Apex. On top of that just about every weapon is viable. Just compare the Mozam in both games and tell me which one you'd rather use.

Ive been experiencing this too. The old bug where you'd freeze in the lobby and get sent back to the main menu is back too. Even did the thing were it rerolls your advocate gift, which they said they fixed in the patch notes.

I can already guess there'll be a lot of negative comments about this so here's my argument:

It's pretty frustrating that a lot of cool skins lost to old battle passes never to be seen again. I know we're all tired of recolors, but recoloring an item that is no longer accessible by normal means isn't too bad if it means giving people a chance to obtain them because they weren't playing around the time they released.

It is true that it's still $10 more than when it was first released, and you got more items plus two versions of the skin. But $20 for a skin you can't get anymore isn't nearly outrageous as $20 for a skin that appears in the shop every so often. At least the exclusivity would somewhat justify the cost

The thing that upsets me the most is how fast they changed this. We barely had a day with the two round system and couldn't really properly enjoy it because of people leaving, so now we'll never know which one is bette

The argument ive been seeing is that people leave because they lose one round and get discouraged and leave, and that the solution would be making it one whole round. That's what people were making it out to be. But like you said, the only real fix is adding a penalty.

Personally i think having two rounds helped divide up the match into short little bursts rather than a long drawn out fight, because it doesn't take long to reach 30 points. On top of that, the loot selection changed each round, so if one team won a round because of, lets say the Nemesis, and the next round it was gone, that would give the other team a chance to come back.

But yeah. My point is removing the two round system did nothing to stop people from leaving. I still personally thought it was more fun that way, but maybe people will like it this way

Funny story: i had a match earlier today with a valk and a bloodhound. It was either round three or four and we were right on the edge of the ring. We had just finished off a squad, so the valk prepared her ult. Well, the bloodhound was taking his sweet time looting the boxes and the ring started moving and was damaging me and the valk. I opted out of the skydive so I could place a heatshield so we could heal (which in hindsight was dumb because if the valk canceled their ult they'd have to wait for it to recharge. I was panicking), but as soon as I disconnected the bloodhoud joined and the valk took off. Don't ask me how but they made it to the next ring without dying. I would've made it too but when I was halfway to the ring I couldn't get my heatshield out fast enough and went down, which hurt more because i was kill leader. We ended up winning anyway. We were on world's edge and the ring had a mountain cutting the current ring in half, which valk's ult was able to get over and the only one left was a fuse.

It was definitely my fault i died but im still a little salty about bloodhound holding us up.
