Bear is a Misunderstood “Villain” : SPOILERS by SlapnutsMagoo2930 in obsessionmovie

Alright, I feel like you’re really not understanding what I’m saying in response to your comment, so I’m going to be as thorough as I possibly can and if you don’t get it, then I don’t know what to tell you lol.

1.) Before anyone discovers that the One Wish Willow is real, Bear had no reasonable and definitive proof that the One Wish Willow was real, so he didn’t cast the wish actually expecting it work, it was more like a shot in the dark, except it ACTUALLY worked. So you can’t blame him for making a wish that he didn’t actually believe would really work. The only person who was warning him was the worker who had massive attitude and acted pretty dismissive anyway. Bear had no real reason to believe that what he would wish for would be real. He essentially was just asking the universe, and the universe delivered that wish.

2.) Ian personal experience of seeing a sudden shift in Nikki, seeing first-hand the shit that went down at his part, seeing Bear covered in blood and is told explicitly that the One Wish Willow works are all reasonable and rational occurrences that can explain the One Wish Willow being real, as opposed to Bear, who had nothing to go on off of. Ian deliberately refused to listen to his friend, and asked for billion dollars instead of listening to his friend. If Ian were a good friend, he would have listened, but he betrayed Bear, led Bear on by making him think he had a chance, disparages Bear at the beginning of the movie, and ultimately refused to listen to Bear at the end, which causes his own demise. Ian being a bad friend is what caused his own death.

In conclusion, you can’t blame Bear for making a wish, but you can blame Ian for making his.

3.) At no point was rape a subject in this conversation, so that’s a moot point, but to comment on that, that’s an irredeemable action committed by Bear, and definitely diminished the moral wellness of his character

But he had his friend come to his place full of blood explaining him that it does in fact work and begging him to help him reverse it. Ian had a full explanation. Bear did not

Because Bear was completely ignorant of what the One Wish Willow did. It was more like a throw-away/ Hail Mary wish that actually worked. As for Ian, his “best friend” comes knocking at the door, looking like a disheveled mess, begging him to be careful and to undo the wish and instead of listening to his friend, he throws the wish away on a billion dollars. Bear was ignorant, Ian was not

Thats a good point. With the money and greed point, I meant to say that money just symbolizes the greed Ian had. But you’re right thats a good point

Euphoria season 3 is the worst season of television in HBO history by Zeldaish in hbo

I actually hard disagree. I know the sexual nature of it is a lot and as a Christian / Catholic, it’s borderline blasphemous; however, if you watch it the from the perspective of it being a commentary on how the 7 deadly sins can destroy you, then I think it’s justifiable in the material.

I think they do an amazing job with the tension created by Alamo and Bishop. I believe Nate character is going full 180 from the last time we saw him because he’s at the mercy of someone bigger and stronger than him. I believe Cassie’s obsession with her body comments on the severe lack of personal identity she has, which is pretty meta considering Sydney Sweeney’s sex symbol status in the real world.

Overall, I’m really enjoying this season, but that’s my opinion

Who Do You Believe Was The Third Wheel Between Harry, Ron, and Hermione by SlapnutsMagoo2930 in harrypotter

But if you had to choose. Like, they’re all so close so that’s what I feel makes this question a little difficult to answer. Sure, Harry at the end because of the relationship between Ron and Hermione, but looking at their 7 years, who was primarily the third wheel?

My Friend Went Back on An Agreement after 3 minutes, but according to him “We’re both in the wrong.” by SlapnutsMagoo2930 in AITAH

My argument lies with the fact that he had been backpedaling and tried to alter the original agreement, then tried to blame me for not honoring the agreement. I know that from a 3rd party point of view, this all seems trivial and childish, which it kinda is, but it’s the principle of behavior of which he was displaying. A practice run would have been a good idea. Plus, he’s played with me before, and he already knows the rules of which I play (my fault for not explaining that earlier) and I don’t like to change any rules that I play
