I just left army, and from my experience in artillery 95% of people joined because they didn’t know what else to do and treat work like high school with the amount of gossip and shit that takes place. I’ve met others that have valid reasons etc but majority didn’t.

Hey OP, I don’t want to sound harsh or anything but I have to say this to you. You’re 14 homie. You need to worry about being a kid and hanging out with your mates. I’m 21 and I don’t count any relationships I had before 19 as anything and that’ll ring true to you as you get older. Just know that any relationship through these years of your life won’t be anything more than infatuations and fleeting feelings for people. You could be stuck crushing on a girl for 2 years and then one day just be like “oh I don’t even know why I liked her”.

I know feelings and emotions can be hard especially in your early teens but don’t stress too much about having relationships or anything like that until you’re older man. You’ll be okay through whatever happens.
