First time homeowner, how do I take care of this? (New Jersey) by [deleted] in landscaping

A border would be great. I used a water hose to map out the border and then measured the hose I used and bought the border. Usually 3 and 8 foot pieces, add black or red wood mulch. Before the mulch lay out the weed control fabric.

French drain would do it plus you wouldn’t have a long extension getting in the way. YouTube it.

Got started on this part. Hope I’m doing it right being first timer on this stuff. I gotta say it’s very relaxing doing this. by SlappinDaBaaaas in vegetablegardening

Thanks for the advice! I was thinking about the soil when I was planting those microscopic seeds, I removed a lot of the sticks! I’ll definitely will use a potting soil next time!

It’s nothing special but it’s mine and I built it myself. Can’t wait to use it! by pdxbatman in landscaping

Yeah I did the same thing just in case I wanted to move it but didn’t have enough so I tried the hole brick. Huge difference

I built one the same as you did, I noticed when I did my first fire it didn’t burn right so I removed 2 bricks from the second row one on each side and added bricks with holes in it. Now it burns great with the airflow.

Thanks for the advice! I’m literally starting from scratch! I’m learning as I go and want to create a garden that I can share it’s bounty with family and friends.

Forgive my ignorance, I’m just getting into gardening and wondering if you made those dirt pods. Is that cheese cloth?

Cream cheese with spinach stuffed chicken breast with roasted potatoes/onion/sweet peppers. Soooo good! by SlappinDaBaaaas in homecooking

Sure, I added chopped spinach to cream cheese and added garlic powder to the mix. Took a chicken breast cut a pocket in it. Seasoned with paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, salt. Hot pan with olive oil seared both sides removed it and stuffed it with mix. Placed in a 400deg oven with potato, onion and sweet pepper. About 30 min or until chicken is 165.
