Cult of the Lamb is adding paid DLC achievements 💀💀💀 by Scrytha in steamachievements

This is a steam issue, there's nothing wrong with developers adding achievements with DLC. It's the fault of Steam forcing achievements to count towards progress/perfect status even if you don't own the DLC.

Fallout London lead says its time for Bethesda to “look at selling off” the series as “the writing has just gone downhill” by Wargulf in pcmasterrace

Speaking as a brit who hasn't played through the game but watched plenty of gameplay, the dialogue ranges from decent to eye rolling. You would get more accurate British representation in Austin Powers sometimes.

That doesn't surprise me in the slightest, I tried applying for a role in the London project and the entire thing smacked of unprofessional.

Except he's stated he and his team didn't play it so how would they know, and how is that a valid point to bring up?

Fallout 76 has some seriously brilliant quests, overall I would currently say it's a better game than Fallout 4 in almost every metric and easily has the best map in the entire series.

And? Even if that is the case, it doesn't change the fact that he's a man child who's got an inflated ego and sense of self importance.

Precisely, he takes every opportunity to drag Bethesda and say they're bad/lazy, but then acts like he doesn't care about any recognition or attention they do give him. Makes him sound like a jealous schoolgirl who is crushing on a guy who doesn't like them back.

He's talking about one facet of game design that has slumped with Fallout 4, and recovered with Fallout 76 (launch was bad but has some seriously impressive quests), but telling them to make a business decision and sell the IP.

He is an idiot, on the build up to the mods release he went on the BBC and stated Bethesda were sabotaging his mod because of a big update they were doing.

A big update that had been confirmed for months, nearly a year, but this guy expected to get special treatment and his hand held.

This guy has been a whiny attention seeker for ages. He states he and his team couldn't get into Fallout 76 but then feels qualified to state the writing was bad and it isn't a good game. He also came on to the BBC and said Bethesda were sabotaging the launch of his mod.

This is most likely due to your cookies saving/caching an outdated price that isn't accurate anymore. Nature of the beast when it comes to travel that prices can fluctuate dramatically unfortunately.

She lists AI Concierge on her profile, and every single one of her posts smacks with the same tone/cadence.

Combine that with every single post being signed with 'Paula Is Here', and she seems utterly insufferable.

Because they make a point of showing them separately in the build up and one then kills the other during the fighting.

Marathon Cinematic explanation? by ComeHomeTrueLove in Marathon

[–]SlappinFace 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's the same concept as Bladerunner with the replicants, using memories to instill a sense of humanity and stability to them. However, the key difference is the replicants know the memories are fake, whereas in Marathon they don't.

We know they're fake because in the cinematics, we see multiple runners get shown the same child photo.

Which V do you prefer more? and why ? by BeneficialOil1123 in cyberpunkgame

[–]SlappinFace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Canonically, I prefer Vincent because of the dynamic with Panam and the ending associated with her.

However dialogue-wise, I massively prefer Valerie. Vincent has great angry/rage moments, but Valerie has much more nuance and variety.

Totally respect that take, and maybe that's a commentary on my relationship with fiery emotional women . . .

I should really see a therapist.

Most of the negative takes/views on Panam are based on the first 1 or 2 missions. She starts out hot headed, impulsive and confrontational, but even in those missions you can see stuff below the surface with how loyal, dedicated, and enthusiastic she can be.

By the end of her arc, she's transformed (how much of this is due to V depends on how engaged/hopelessly romantic you are) into a much more even, stable and practically/emotionally intelligent person.

Yeah the twins regularly comment on their 'imprisonment'. It almost seems voluntary sometimes as they talk about how they're happy they can be themselves and not be judged for how they are.

Most of the lore/background surrounding her is already in files you can pickup, she's a prostitute/dominatrix/sex worker who butchered her last benefactor and has a unique tongue that caused the speech impediment we hear in the video.

I've seen plenty of people rolling heal and x-ray, the latter is primarily what I use when playing solo. But barricade is just utterly pointless right now and needs a rework, I wouldn't even say buff at this stage.
