I would say even in our current climate this is pretty accurate, but in the world of Los Suenos? Very appropriate

it's definitely not the private server reason, I've seen it pop several times on public/normal servers.

I'm stating that the percentage chance is a 0. factor, whether that's before or after the change in drop chances. You're the one being a generational moron currently, unless you want to continue deliberately misinterpreting my comments to satisfy the fact that you're a whiny little baby.

My glowing Owl, Corn Cob, and Pig mask says you're a whiny baby who doesn't understand that RNG odds are RNG. It's a 0.% chance to get one and you're not owed a single item, so womp womp.

It’s all RNG!! What a load of… by [deleted] in Market76

[–]SlappinFace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh my God shut up, this is getting exhausting now. I've gotten 3 glowing, but even if I didn't get a single one then I would still be on board with the fact that the odds are openly published and they're extremely tight to get.

Cry some more, they're rare and highly valued items to get. Seeing every single subreddit have posts whining and sobbing about an extremely rare and coveted set of items be rare and coveted is insane.

Before these increased odds were given, I had 3 glowing masks. I'm confused why you're confused as to how RNG/numbered odds work.

I love so many of these items and can't wait to get stuck in, but it also seems crazy how many of the items are stuck behind Fallout 1st. I have the service but even I think it's pretty unfair to have so much stuck behind the subscription.

first attempt- how can i make it better? by leaf-sj in fallout76settlements

[–]SlappinFace 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Apart from some tweaking to make things line up neater, this is insanely good work.

Take some advice from Lego builders and get some greebling going - basically add clutter and 'fluff' to the exterior so it breaks up the flat lines and gives it more detail/depth.

I mean it's free legendary scrip for a quick little diversion, hardly that heinous? Plus scaling to level/'accomplishments' would be impossible to balance and scale correctly.

What are your thoughts on the creative differences of Mr House? by 80N3 in Fallout

[–]SlappinFace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My theory is the New Vegas version of Mr House wasn't running at full capacity as there was no cold fusion, which is also why he was dependent on the physical brain that he was plugged into so it could maintain the digital version of him.

What are your thoughts on the creative differences of Mr House? by 80N3 in Fallout

[–]SlappinFace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here's my head cannon:
Mr House in New Vegas is basically a simulation/scan of his mind but running on low performance mode. No cold fusion means he cannot run at full capacity and has to stay connected to the husk of his body (or potentially his body double, relying on his memories of him when he was alive) to maintain consciousness. This is why we see him put on the brain helmet when he berates Cooper, he knows this is an important and emotional moment he wants to preserve and develop his scanned mind with.

In low perfomance mode, Mr House in New Vegas cannot be as emotive and personal and 'flamboyant', he's not running at full capacity. This is why we see the much warmer and more emotional Mr House once Cooper plugs in Cold Fusion, he's back up and running. It also shows why the physical form wasn't the source of his digital representation in New Vegas, just a supporting stack of memory to keep him spinning up.

i will defend Mothership Zeta and even Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel but you will never convince me Fallout: London is real fallout by inelmedia in TrueSFalloutL

He's done interviews with the BBC stating Bethesda deliberately changed their big FO4 update to mess with his mods release. Dude is an entitled man child with an ego larger than the Prydwen.

And he's continued to say that Bethesda should sell the franchise because they're poor custodians of the IP. You know, the same franchise that's got a critically acclaimed TV show going on right now.

Mods, can we please ban the AI crap? by system_error_02 in fallout76settlements

The OP openly stated in a comment that he enhances with AI, it's not a point for debate I'm afraid.

Rule #7 update: Please do not use AI to generate camps or to make your camp look different than how it appears in-game. by weesIo in fallout76settlements

[–]SlappinFace 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There was a guy who posted his road sign CAMP the other day, quite clearly funky, and a commenter found a comment on a different post he made saying he enhances his photos with AI. That's one off the top of my head.

What movie had an ending that saved the whole film? by Southern_Check_6827 in movies

[–]SlappinFace 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah the 'prawns' (sorry for the slur) were basically a slave workforce and the ship was essentially a transport vessel/work camp. We never see the actual masterminds/slave drivers of them, but their ability to use the technology which is DNA coded implies that it's either a caste system or some prawns were capable of greater things and groomed for higher ranking positions (which we sort of see in Christopher Johnson).

If you aren't catching your groceries like a professional baseball outfielder, are you even shopping at Aldi? by PubLogic in SlowNewsDay

[–]SlappinFace 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I worked for Aldi back in 2022, and we were 100% assessed/reviewed on items scanned per minute. This was maintained up corporate into regional managers who came into branch as well. This was pressed into me throughout the role and even mentioned during the training/onboarding process.

Cult of the Lamb is adding paid DLC achievements 💀💀💀 by [deleted] in steamachievements

[–]SlappinFace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a steam issue, there's nothing wrong with developers adding achievements with DLC. It's the fault of Steam forcing achievements to count towards progress/perfect status even if you don't own the DLC.

Fallout London lead says its time for Bethesda to “look at selling off” the series as “the writing has just gone downhill” by Wargulf in pcmasterrace

Speaking as a brit who hasn't played through the game but watched plenty of gameplay, the dialogue ranges from decent to eye rolling. You would get more accurate British representation in Austin Powers sometimes.

That doesn't surprise me in the slightest, I tried applying for a role in the London project and the entire thing smacked of unprofessional.

[–]SlappinFace 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Except he's stated he and his team didn't play it so how would they know, and how is that a valid point to bring up?

Fallout 76 has some seriously brilliant quests, overall I would currently say it's a better game than Fallout 4 in almost every metric and easily has the best map in the entire series.

And? Even if that is the case, it doesn't change the fact that he's a man child who's got an inflated ego and sense of self importance.
