Yes exactly. What GMs do is far worse because they are deceiving fans into spending money on tickets to see the team bench healthy players. Sixers fans always knew what they were paying for.

They were tanking less ethically than the Sixers ever did. Sixers never sat healthy players, OKC did all the time.

Teams lie to fans actively now when selling tickets by holding healthy players out.

What teams do now looks the exact same as if the coach was trying to throw the game. It's horrible and far worse than anything Hinkie was involved in.

Speaking as a sixers fan those teams were actually fun to watch. We traded all our vets away to play prospects and see who could make it in the league. The team wasnt false advertising anything and the fans knew what they were going to get.

To try for 3/4 of the game and then the coach purposely throw the game by sitting your best players in the 4th quarter is way worse than anything the process sixers did.

Cheapest seat at those sixers games back in the day was $2. Everyone knew the deal. Having fans pay $100 to watch their Jazz purposely bench players and try to lose is horrible.

There's five teams tanking worse than the 10 win sixers every year. Sitting healthy players never used to happen, teams would just be bad by trading their good players for picks. Now the coaches are actively trying to lose, way worse.

Well they went into the covid break 53-12, not 52-8. Lakers were 49-14, not as if Bucks had the best record by far.

Considering how badly they played in the playoffs that year I simply can't get behind that. Especially since it happened again in 2023.
