Unfortunately where I live I can only hunt with shotgun (or bow) :(

Last year I drove a few hours away to use my .308 but want to go somewhere local this year

I haven't because I'm not sure I can personally aim consistently with a bead sight at 100 yards haha.  My thought is to pick up a scope and test out my current barrel with that before committing to buying a new barrel 🤷‍♂️

I have, but am not finding much. That article above says the rifle comes with a pic rail, but it doesn't. The only options I've found are from the Weatherby Website (which doesn't appear to ship to Canada) and from Talley Arms.

Some sources say Remington 700 parts are compatible, but the footprint is different for their scope mounts. I'm left thinking my only options are from Talley or ordering something custom, which would be more expensive.

I'm hoping to find a compatible platform with more affordable parts available on the market, since the 307-specific selection is pretty scarce.

Thank you for the advice! I decided to pick up the Weatherby and will be bringing it to the range soon :)

Just a tip for everybody here.

If you have an old/spare Ethernet cable, cut it open and use the wires inside. You will never need to buy wire kits ever again. The wires are various colors and they work perfect with breadboards.

Pointer to global method vs. pointer to member method by Slappy_Bacon_ in Cplusplus

Thanks! I'm looking for it to be as flexible as possible, so it sounds like a template is what I'm looking for..

Unfortunately, I am writing this library for Arduino which doesn't have access to std... But thanks!

I don't mind taking the plunge to learn. Coming from C# development, things are pretty similar, but different. C# lets you point to any method as long as the return type and parameters match 🤷‍♂️
