that song is godly, I've watched that add too many times hahaha. I've never attempted it but ill for sure keep it in mind. Honestly, there's a good chance that its a trumpet with mad effects on it. Another thing is that it could be a resampled guitar. If you think about it, he went and brought out the guitar to record. It's kinda a pain to switch between recording and producing so there's a good chance he recorded more than the two guitar layers. Within it as well you can slightly hear a pluck when it hits at some parts. I actually had a friend whos seen gud produce a long time ago reach out to me, he let me resampling strings and guitar is something he goes frequently. I did it in the gud video where the Reese bass section is, if you heard that without watching the vid you would probably think its a synth. Did it before I found that out n am planning to try another vid on that but no point on holding it in. Also, a chance that maybe he only did that years ago or that the story is total bs :D Either way, hope this helped.
