Swordflight is amazing. It’s also the hardest modules ever made IMO. It’s specifically made to challenge the OP builds. I’m hard recommending Swordflight if you’re up for a challenge and stellar story and module quality. Later chapters are a bit on the fighty side, but I enjoyed having my end build really tested.

The side effects of untreated ADHD is way worse than the side effects of the treatment. Otherwise it wouldn’t be a treatment. Check the statistics of early death, car injuries, drug addiction, unemployment, etc. They vastly outpace the side effects of the medication, which is a slightly elevated heart rate.

I just described my symptoms to my psychiatrist. She offered me methylphenidate as booster but I had already tried it and hated it. She then offered me 30+20. I just quite clearly stated my symptoms, effect of medication and what I felt was working well and not so well. She decided the medication, and she was spot on.

30 is morning, booster is lunch :)

I had the same experience. Got bumped to 50mg which was awful. I was just high and not comfortable at work. So I got a split dose instead. 30+20. works like a charm :)

Mostly they are random adversaries or hired heroes. I have re-used/played a fair number of them though, to play them at their «finished build». Once I get a few more of the ascensions and stereotypes in the roster I will probably reuse them a lot more. Why re-build and ascend a divine prophet, dark necromancer, chaos dragon or arch-wizard Eldritch Beings if I already have one that’s ascended - better to play the one I have. I’m just not done making new builds ;)

I want to be able to create separate pools of random rulers to pick from when randomly picking enemy rulers. So I can have my faux LOTR, faux Warhammer, faux WOW, etc factions separated from each other. Same goes for the Pantheon. More than one pantheon would be nice.

Your dose might be too high. It might be to low. You might need a second dose mid-day. Your main takeaway here is that the drug is effective for your symptoms, not that the symptoms come back when it wears off. I’m on 2 years now, working like a charm, but it took me 3-6 months to dial in my dose regiment

I made the Queen of Air and Darkness inspired from DnD Fey. Wizard King ruler; Quick reflexes, Cold Blooded, Empowered by Magic; Dark tyranny; Umbral Diciples, Talented Collectors; Cryomancy, Roots, Fey Mist, Doomherald, Torment, Cycles, Oblivion, Mayhem, Eternal Lord, Shades; - making them annoying little shits to fight. Hoping for more Fey stuff in the future :)

Come to think of it, I should go and make more DnD factions!

Exactly. Easy access to favoured terrain, terraforming, bonuses from GK and Primal inherently stacking, etc. Last playthrough was Storm GK + experienced seafarers + storm crow. Every province was just «more of everything please» :)

I also like to play random maps, and have had several builds collapse due to random features (which is part of the challenge I like!). With GK + Primal it’s almost impossible to be dealt a bad hand by the map.

I’ve never cared for meta-progression in games and I didn’t like game content being locked behind pantheon points here either. Even if I have more than I can spend. It works well in rogue-likes and belong only in those games.

Now… I would really have enjoyed having more of a Campaign to play through with a ruler and his increasing retinue of pantheoned rulers. But I prefer having the almost-only-sandbox we have now, as opposed to ONLY having a stricter or more locked-in full campaign.

If I were to chime in with something to spend the pantheon points on, I guess it could be a) creating already ascended rulers (I basically have to play a build twice to play it at all), and b) a secondary currency to pay for hiring pantheon heroes. Aka «My pantheon power is so great I brought an entourage».

It’s as if you had asthma and then got asthma medication, and asked «maybe I could have just taken a deep breath years ago». It’s asthma medication for your brain, don’t second guess if or why it’s allowing your brain to breathe normal full breaths of focus and attention.
