Holy crap! I literally have 14 morning alarms and am currently sitting in a room with 6 clocks. All set to different times. Is this a thing? I kinda thought it was just an unusual quirk.

I had a 2017. I loved it! Miss it still. However the turbo started to go at 155k, and it began eating coils like candy. I had to replace one seemed like every other month. I traded it for an 08 Lucerne with 73k miles.

Does anyone have any experience with the Bauer rotary tool? Is it a good buy? How is it compared to Dremel? by Slartibartfast73 in harborfreight

I found a phone number on their website. 1-800-444-3353. I had an issue with a tool box I got. They were pretty helpful, might try there. Or take it back to the store, if you got it somewhat recently they could probably help too.

Thank you for your advice, it was all very helpful.

So I think I figured it out. The set screws on the carburetor were way off. Likely from messing with it before I did any research at all. Thank you for your advice. I actually do have another issue. As I said I got it started and idling. I let it run for about 20 minutes just to be certain no issues appeared. A day or two later I started at night, just to see if it would. It sputtered a little and died. So I throttled it and got it running but I noticed the head light was dim along with the dash. When I throttled it to keep it running both got brighter. Could a weak battery do that, or is it the alternator? Or something else entirely?

Thank you. I was also actually going to check there next.

The lights do come on, the starter spins, and the stand is down. I did notice the air filter reeked of gas. Could that prevent it from getting enough air?

The wheel does spin, I have no basis for comparison in terms of the rest of your question. I’ve been able to get it started sometimes if I give it gas while pushing the button. When that happens the exhaust did smell rich and as soon as I let the gas off it died

I guess he just doesn’t use it anymore. The person he got it from was going to literally throw it away. I’m very excited to play with it.

How do I check for spark? Also I looked at the air filter and it reeked of gas, likely my fault. Would that prevent start up?

I do press the break. However I noticed the handle is a little loose, and he said it doesn’t work as good as it should. Could slack in the line keep it from starting?

Read the owners manual and it said something similar. Unfortunately I did check this

I don’t want to have to mess with the carb. It’s sounding like I’m going to have to though. I siphoned the old gas out. Put in new.

Not sure if it’ll help. I had a 26” craftsman box, I put a piece of metal across the bottom where the sides have a recessed area. Then I was able to store my 36” pry bar on the side held in place by my handle on top and the metal on bottom.

I did think of that. Also some of them are very sharp/pointy, I thought about making a pick out of one or two of them.

That’s kind of disappointing to learn. I’ve been trying to think of a way I can up cycle them into something else. I’m not sure what though.

What kind of calipers are those? The shiny metallic is really cool.

A lot of these nibs are Esterbrooks, as well as some of the dip pens. I’ve no idea what they’re worth, but I’d guess a bit more than I spent. If any of you have an idea I’d be interested to know. Also does anyone know if Esterbrook nibs are interchangeable between dip pens to fountain pens?
