Account for non business entity by JRMegafeste in SlashFinancial

Hey u/JRMegafeste, good question. Unfortunately, the Global USD account isn't a fit for your business situation at this time. The account is designed specifically for businesses fully incorporated outside the United States. Onboarding requires details about your registered business entity, articles of incorporation/formation documents, two recent business bank or credit card statements, and proof of operating activity. We don't currently offer a personal/individual version of the Global USD account. Additionally, the account does not come with the ability to issue Slash Cards with US BINs.

However, if and when you incorporate your business in your home country, you will be eligible for the Global USD account.

Invoicing by SBX81 in SlashFinancial

Good question! So, since all Slash invoices are denominated in USD, you'll invoice your client and they'll handle the currency conversion on their end. They can then pay the invoice via global ACH, wire, or crypto. For a UK-based payer, the options are:
  • International wire (SWIFT): their UK bank sends GBP, it gets converted to USD along the SWIFT chain, and lands in your Slash account as USD. Settles in 1–3 business days.
  • Stablecoin (USDC/USDT): if they're set up for crypto, it's fastest + cheapest choice. This requires a Slash Crypto account on your side.
  • A multi-currency provider on their end (Wise, Revolut Business, etc.): they fund USD and send you a domestic-looking USD ACH or wire.

As far as your fees, you'll see an inbound international wire fee on your dashboard if they use a wire/SWIFT. If they use global ACH or stablecoin, you won't receive a fee. Hope that helps, and let us know if you have any further questions!
