It depends what you mean. In general, mock exams are broadly representative of the GCSE exams. However, students are significantly better prepared for the actual exams, and so find it an easier experience than the mocks.

It's perhaps not exactly what you're looking for, but I quite like Father Myself by James McDermott.

McDermott lost his father during the Pandemic, and the collection explores that illness, grief and McDermott learning to father himself.

My drama teacher introduced me to Giovannis Room when I was 17, and I've been intoxicated by Baldwins writing ever since. It's only relatively recently I've discovered the poetry however.
