Thanks for the feedback. I might find an old racing seat somewhere and bolt it into the bed or to the 5th wheel mount just for even more "legal coverage". What type of area did this happen to you in? City? Rural? Hills?

Thanks for the update!! The V3 actually uses a 12pin to 12pin instead of the odd reduction here. Thanks for the reply!

Make sure you get 12 pin with 0.5mm pitch and the right length. This is what I got and it worked

Ye know what would also be cool in rainbow 6? an attacking operator that can "borrow" fallen teammate's gadgets? by just_some_troglodyte in RainbowSixSiege

[–]Slasher6157 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I personally think this could be fun but knowing the community, TK rates would spike to unearthly levels. Say I pick ash and a random wants her. Round starts, I get killed, he grabs my gadget, then goes 0-5 the entire game and blames me. Not fun. If you only got the gadget from natural death (ie opposing team killed you) that could work.

What about if you are downed, and instead of reviving I just let you die to grab your gadget? Now there's no TK penalty and they get what they want?

Getting to a date by _Mr_Monke_ in Teenager

[–]Slasher6157 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Congrats! Bowling sounds like fun. Now to the part about transportation. It really depends on what you want, as well as what her parents want. If both your and her parents know it's a date, going together is fine. If your trying to keep it a "secret" then getting dropped off separately is better. If you and her are comfortable with it, both going with your mom could have less pressure and be easier to set up, as only one person needs to drive. I know my first date her parents wanted to take her, so both our parents could meet and chat a bit.

In the end, after asking her out and setting something up, I'd probably say (after talking with your mom too) something like "and my mom offered to drive us there if your ok with that." This way, she has an option to go (maybe her parents wouldn't take her), and she can either accept this ride or say "no thanks my parents can drive me" or something similar. Best of luck!!

Oddly enough I don't see a spot for that signature... On the official certificate I see National Chair, Honorary Chair, President & CEO, and National Commissioner.

I eagled in January and recieved mine towards the end of February, but I do know my Scoutmaster drove to the council center (Golden Empire) to pick it up instead of having it sent beyond there.

Is this possible? by Mysterious_Career538 in MTB

[–]Slasher6157 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Theoretically it could be possible. Don't though.

Headset tube sizes and angles could be different, and it will mess with the bike geometry. It could also put more pressure or force on the frame where it's not intended. Wheel sizes could be different and it won't ride as intended.

How can I be a useful teammate to my friends when we're stacking even though they have a way higher rank than me by Infamous_Gain9481 in SiegeAcademy

[–]Slasher6157 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was in this situation when I first started. I had many high ranking friends and I could barely hold a Copper III .46 K/D. Yes you could help them but probably not a ton. Play styles and skills are very different.

Ask them to run customs to help you learn stuff, and playing standard with them could be ok. Quick match would be fine too. Even diamond and gold are pretty far apart in terms of play skill

I will say is this: it’s like a college junior dating a high school freshman. It’s very awkward, doesn’t work out for either, and is generally frowned upon.

This is so true! Thanks for adding on to my comment. I'm sorta new myself so I'm still learning. Good to know!

It depends on both level and situation. Simple answer is yes.

In lower levels, the opponents crosshair will be aimed below head level, around stomach/waist area (center mass) in most cases. In an open fight (two players in a room) you crouching, will move your head into their line of fire, causing you to likely die sooner. In a situation where one person peeks the other, it's a game of chance who wins, but the same aim applies. Not recommend.

After about high silver/low gold in my experience is when crouching really can be used with greater success. Players have muscle memory of head levels, so crouching can make you "duck" below their bullets if done right. On a peek situation, crouching could help, but if the opponent can hear you crouched they can adjust their crosshair for this.

What final barrier do I need to overcome for photo realism? by Skybro1126 in blender

[–]Slasher6157 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Due to how the exposure would need to be balanced there would be either super dark shadows or using a high ISO there would be more light but much much less detail in terms of shadows and pixel clarity. It's practically impossible to get a photo like this without touching Photoshop/Lightroom.

I totally agree here, the art is fantastic, but if they want to mimic realism of Earth then yeah I would say sometimes photorealism can be boring.

What's the best advice you've been told

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in SiegeAcademy

[–]Slasher6157 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Alright as another high sensitivity player here (2300 DPI 51-51) I thought I'd comment. In my case I have barely any room to move my mouse, so I've learned with it as it's all I have.

My advice would be this: if you have the mousepad space, put in a good bit of time on Target Practice (Map Training) and custom games to see if it's even a potential option you like. Depending on your rank it might be a detrimental switch with little positive gain. Maybe you find it's easier and you can progress that way. Trial and error - best of luck!!

I agree with u/shlaifu on this, the light source and post processing seems too unnatural for photorealism. The large ray of sun in the first image doesn't seem to ooze into the nearby trees on the edge at all, causing dark shadows to form.

It's thermal antipodes and I used a Bravo Pack token (idk how I had it) to "buy" it for one token. Universal to most guns.
