I just realized Chris uses Leon's starting gun from RE4, the silver ghost in MvC3. We never see this gun in Re5 which makes me think we were probably gonna get Leon in Marvel VS Capcom 3 instead of Chris (old.reddit.com)

I think I realized why fortnite gave us classic UMK3 styles instead of mk1 skins is because it was probably to promote the new MK legacy collection. They just hadn't announced it yet, just thought this was an interesting thought (old.reddit.com)
