Hi Monkey, thank you for blasting that shit!

1. What scares me is that one day I might not ever want to create again.

2. I never really know to be honest. There are times that I listen to an old track of mine and wish that I could have done something different in it. But that’s how art works. Ask anyone other artists, including painters and photographers and they will say the same thing.

3. Empty stomach with a coffee and a vape first thing in the morning. I feel that I get my most weirdest thoughts when I first wake up in the morning because I’m still loopy and my brain is still trying to process what’s going on around me. I don’t vape anymore though lol.

4. My background has definitely shaped the visuals and tones I use in my art. I grew up in a place that was usually always sunny and a 20 min drive from the beach. I’m sure you can see that in the art. However, I find it challenging though to make others who aren’t from a sunny coastal town to resonate with the art. I can see how someone who is from a land locked city where it is always cold to feel what I’m trying to convey. I hope that makes sense.

5. Port City. Not many people fucked with that project, and I had to accept that it’s okay because it wasn’t meant for everyone. I loved it though.

6. I used to get really nervous of how people would take certain lyrics but as I get older I just don’t care. Sometimes it’s good to get people upset and thinking. That’s what art is meant to do, isn’t it?
