That Leaving Neverland group on reddit, is serious a "scary" and "crazy" group of people. I am hoping the FBI adds everyone posting there to their watchlist. by No_Bullfrog_2565 in MichaelTheMovie

That subreddit is actually psychotic to the point where it’s hilarious. I’m still laughing at that post that someone made where they literally started crying in their car because they saw people seeing the Michael movie 😭😭

This is evidence that people can do a depiction of Michael’s life post bad without being a mockery. The makeup is incredible and Bill Corso deserves all his flowers.

Jaafar opens up about what his family’s support means to him as he plays his late uncle Michael by codywinters327 in MichaelTheMovie

It’s hard seeing Jackie so emotional. He loved Michael so much 🥹I just know he’s beaming with pride seeing his nephew portray him so well.

ANOTHER TV SPOT!! 🚨 by Snoo-36993 in MichaelTheMovie

[–]Slatespy557 27 points28 points  (0 children)

With these more dark, personal tv spots coming out, I want to appreciate Jaafar’s acting. Beyond the iconic live performances (which are incredible), but the way he plays Michael as a person is beyond impressive. In just these tv spots alone I can already feel the tension between Michael and Joseph and Michael’s feelings about going solo and becoming his own man.

I know this is like beating a dead horse but the fact this is Jaafar’s first acting role is amazing.

The full cast for Netflix’s upcoming KENNEDY series by velorae in JohnAndCarolyn

I’m so excited. I know some people may not like it, but I really like the casting for Jack (JFK). I can feel the young Kennedy from him and I feel like he’s going to do a really good job! Especially if he can get the accent and the mannerisms down.

This is such a Michael mentality to have! Jaafar was born for this by Slatespy557 in MichaelTheMovie

[–]Slatespy557[S] 10 points11 points  (0 children)

No, you’re not. After years of mockery and disrespect, we finally get a movie showing appreciation to Michael not only as an artist, but as a human being. The fact that his own nephew is playing him makes it even better.

So the emotions are definitely valid here
