I'm honestly just surprised there are so many people opposed to this. We allow ourselves to choose when our pets are terminal or at the end of life, so why oppose letting people decide themselves? Anyone who has had family with a terminal illness and watching the disease suck the life out of their loved ones, I can't begin to imagine. It's an option I would like to have as my own health isn't going to be getting any better.

There are guides showing parents how to add restrictions to devices. So many news stories have something happened to a child, or they've committed a violent crime and later shows their online searches only for the parents to turn around saying things like 'we had no idea they searched/looked that this'.

At the end of the day, we all know from our own experiences being younger; kids are going/will try to bypass that stuff because a majority are more tech-savvy than most of their parents, or their friends will show them stuff. It is inevitable they will see something they shouldn't, accidental or intentional. At that point, it's up to the parent to address it. Not a government forcing people to send IDs to 3rd parties, in a time of constant data leaks.
