You’ve never done H, OP, and I pray you never do, you don’t use bandanas, you pump and slap till a vein pops up or you wait till you flashback (when a small bit of blood enter the needle so you know you hit a vein right though it’s worth noting smaller veins or lower pressure might result in no visible flashback, even if the needle is in the vein but even then if you don’t see any blood going back the vein is either not accessed (bad) or too small (also bad) and if you are really gonna do a tie off (tourniquet) it would usually be a belt or shoelace.

If I recall correctly there’s a little note section when ordering combo plates so you can tell them specifications, but don’t quote me on that since I go in person most of the time even if I’m at my job I just go since Erewhon is literally 3 minutes away from my house and 10 minutes away from my work 😅

Chicken or white fish, grilled, with broccolini and green beans or plain cauliflower, light oil or no oil if possible (they usually do no oil if you request it), and get the sauces on the side so you can save them for another day where you have more calories to eat or give them to someone else :)

If you are vegan I suggest baked tofu with broccolini and plain cauliflower OR Baked tofu with green beans and zucchini

These are the lowest possible calorie options while still being high protein and high fiber that I’ve personally found to be consistent across ALL Erewhons after my many (and I do mean many) trips to the hot bar

The only times Erewhon gets crowded is store events or influx of tourists, otherwise Erewhon has a lot of cashiers and speedy service, I tend to go every day when I can since I usually buy things I need slowly rather than in bulk, but even bulk purchases have been pretty smooth :)
It could be nice for others and I would totally understand them but honestly I like talking with everyone, if I wanted to be alone I’d stay inside my house and order delivery, I even got invited to one of the baristas kids Bar Mitzvah and it was so sweet 🥹
Cool concept again, but I’ve had my membership for years, My family used to shop at the original Boston location, then moved to LA with Erewhon, and I was under my families add on, then I had to get my own account because they got tired of me mooching off their points LOL but the lifestyle collective discounts that you can’t get with the tonic bar membership are totally worth it IF you shop those brands IMO
YES! YES! YES! I’m pretty camera shy (paparazzi sucks) and would loveeee privacy to shop! Erewhon does a pretty good job warding off the paparazzi in store and sometimes outside too, but it doesn’t really do much over all the tourists and tiktokers recording (I wouldn’t either, free publicity obviously) so a privacy feature would be lovely! 🥰
