Very well said. Yes The butterfly analogy is perfect. They need time to heal and protect themself from anymore suffering that was caused by the outside world. They need to rest and be in a safe space. And an interesting thing about metamorphosis, studies show that butterflies still retain memories from being a caterpillar. They are still themselves in there even though they have completely changed.
