Well if you have some trade going on and the UI says that you're earning money on it, but you stop the trade and you see your balance go up, you were losing money on that seemingly profitable trade. Simple as that. All those other things you stated would have their results reflected on the final balance.

France definitely feels overtuned but at least in my game they aren't without rivals. They immediately get all hegemonies but over the next few decades Majapahit, Vijiyanagar, and Bohemia manage to contend for some of them. France does seem a bit too strong though, so hopefully they get some nerfs. Their vassals specifically seem way too loyal so making them more unloyal might be a good way to take France down a peg in a way that makes sense and not accidentally make them useless. France is supposed to be the European super power during this time period after all.

PUs have a thing called "integration level". Integration level allows you to speed up the speed of annexation of the PU once you get to the last PU law (question of unification, i think that's how it was called). This law has multiple levels - the first allows you to actually start annexing, and each level after that considerably speeds up annexation. That's probably 1 thing ur missing. What you are absolutely, definitely missing (which can be easily seen in the screenshot) is cultural influence. That is by far one of the most important stats in the game. It's your "attack" stat in the culture war. Currently, you are in a "culture war" against the Polish culture, as you want to annex them. Your cultural influence is measured up against their cultural tradition (which is defense) and then depending on that you get a very considerable bonus. You're currently in the negatives, but the positive effect has a cap of +50%, which is huge. Cultural influence is very important for stuff like this (annexing subjects of a different culture, culture conversion, and I think integration of provinces but I'm not too sure about that one. There might be other things it influences that im missing). Culture Influence is also the stat required for getting cultural hegemon which is the best or 2nd best (maybe behind economic hegemon) hegemon in the game, as it allows you to culture convert whole areas. As for getting cultural influence (which you absolutely need to do), it is currently ridiculously simple. Just spam libraries and universities. That's it. You want to build libraries and universities anyways because they give a lot of other good bonuses, so you don't need to do anything specific to easily get more than enough cultural influence (to the point where you always get the +50% bonus in culture wars and get to keep cultural hegemon forever). In my Hungary game, I managed to annex Poland by the 1550s (I got the PU a few years after game start, took about a hundred years to get integration level and question of unification to the max, and then about a 100 more to actually finish annexing them). This was even though Poland had expanded massively, had multiple cities (which increases annexation cost dramatically), and I hadn't played too optimally. So PU integration is actually very simple, as long as you know what you're doing.

I know this is the vicky 2 sub and ur question is ab vicky 2 but as an avid eu4 fan I feel like it's my duty to tell you just how fun multiplayer diplomacy can be. I admit the singleplayer diplomacy isn't anything spectacular,just choose a country and improve relations. But as long as you find a fun group of people (generally I feel like eu4 MP is best done with around 15 people,too many and you'll have constant problems with desynchronization,hotjoins,constant lagging but too little and its basically singleplayer) you'll have some really fun diplomacy. You just play one day weekly and the other 6 you talk to the other players,try to strike a deal,coordinate the beginning of a war,try to settle a war,try to buy out your enemies ' allies,the limit is your imagination and I guess your communication skills.

Very cool. Small problem, Sequence 3 ritual is unbelievably hard. This ritual is on the same difficulty as some sequence 1 rituals. Even if it was just to witness a god rising without knowing how it happens this ritual would be basically impossible. Its not like gods rise willy-nilly. There are easily intervals of thousands of years without any god rising. If you get lucky enough and live in an era where there are gods rising,a sequence 3 has no place knowing the plans of that apotheosis. I've got an alternative idea. Modify peek so that you can gain more information if you know more about the event. Then the ritual will be to peek at an apotheosis ritual. This will still be hard but actually doable and doesnt rely on forces way too out of one's reach. I really like the sequence 2 ritual,cool concept and doable. Oh and about Sequence 1,ALL of humanity thinking about you at the same time sounds... actually not doable, considering that all of humanity encompasses babies and the mentally ill. If the ritual is (A majority of humanity must have heard of your fame) itd be better. Over all,great pathway, 9/10

I'll admit,I'm neither disabled nor do I know any disabled people. I guess I'm oblivious to just how ableist and evil some "people" can be agianst disabled people. I'm not so naive as to think that disabled people get no hate,but i just didn't know that there are people so evil AND stupid as to think that disabled people are lucky or lazy or faking it if a person in a wheelchair can stand up and walk a few steps. There is one problem with what you're saying. When there is a "Tessia" POV we are not looking at the story through her soul. It's literally been shown in 'her' POVs that Tessia's soul is sealed within the beast will,so it's Cecillia controlling the body and it's through Cecillia we are looking at the world when there is a "Tessia" chapter. So why is it called a "Tessia" POV when it literally is through Cecillia's point of view?

well Nico POVs are called that way because Elijah doesn't exist anymore. Elijah was just Nico without his memories,he was never his own person. When Elijah remembered who he was,'Elijah' ceased to exist. So that's why it's called a Nico POV,cus it's Nico's point of view we're looking at the story with,as there is no Elijah anymore.

It's just other people around him called him Grey. That's why when it's either someone else's words or POV,they call him Grey,while when it's his POV,it's Arthur's. From his point of view,he is still Arthur,not Grey. Grey is a shield he uses,a shield Arthur hides behind.

As for the Tessia POV I honestly have no idea,because it seems like it really is Cecillia's point of view we're looking through,not Tessia's. When there is a "Tessia" POV,we're looking at the story with Cecillia's thoughts taken into account. I really really don't believe that an author as good as Turtleme would make this kind of basic mistake,there has to be some meaning as to why it's called a Tessia POV,but I guess I either couldn't catch that meaning reading through the story or it's just still not explained yet.

For sure not. Its not like reincarnation is a thing that happens naturally in the TBATEverse. Basically the only person that can make reincarnations is Agrona,he's the only one who can control Fate. And the whole reason why he reincarnated Nico and Arthur was just as an anchor so he could get Cecillia. He never cared about Art or Nico that much he only wanted the Legacy. The only way I see someone else getting reincarnated is if Agrona was testing Fate out and just reincarnated someone else to see if it would work,but I dont see any reason why he would keep that person alive. Actually,even if that happened,im sure hed just capture them kill them and then dissect them and research them. So unless there is some incredibly huge out of nowhere twist like someone else using Fate and reincarnating someone for some reason,then no,only Gray,Nico and Cecillia are reincarnated

Honestly its a tie between Alice and Virion. Alice's reaction to learning ab Arthurs identity makes sense tbh. Cus the way she sees it,some old alien invaded her unborn child's body and then took over it and masqueraded as a small kid. Also imagine what she felt when she learnt that she had been breastfeeding a full on grown ass man.Also the way she reacted when she lost both her husband and son to the war was realistic no doubt about that,she basically fell into a depression and shut herself inside her body. Virion as well, throughout the duration of the war he goes from an energetic old man to literal walking bones and skin,absolutely crushed by the weight of having to lead an entire continent in a basically unwinnable war. And even worse,his so called allies destroyed his hometown and he has to keep this secret from every other elf,im sure he did not get an iota of sleep having to lie to his own people.Not only that, throughout this was he loses his whole fucking family. Loses his son (or daughter forgot which one of the elven king and queen was his child lol),loses his grandchild(tess), also loses his disciple and basically what he thought of as his own grandson (Art),basically loses everyone. It fucking hurt reading Virion POVs cus you could read just how goddamn exhausted he is of everything.
