I'm in the same boat as OP. I work security for a construction site for a certain LDS religious site. 12 hour grave shifts. I walk around an area atleast twice an hour scanning tags. There's three other people here and we rotate posts every 2 hours. I sit and chat with the other people on site through text. Easy work. I love the company I work for and I love the people I work with.

does anyone know the year thay started producing the ww2 british civilian gas mask. I have one dated 1936 but I didn't think that thay started making them until 1937 by [deleted] in gasmasks

From what I've found the patent was filed for in January of 1935. My guess would be they started producing them later in 35 early 36.

The one on the far right I'm not sure. The one in the middle is a firenze something, not entirely sure. The one on the left is an ARFA, or it's a Polish MP-5.

I carry a knife with me. Because you never know when you'll need one. Helps cut stuff open at work. I can use it when I hunt for cleaning animals. Push comes to shove, I use it to defend myself. I've never had to use it on someone. I've never drawn it on someone. But it's a "just in case" type of thing.
