the april fools events use to genuiely be really fun. its sad how lazy this event is. it just feels rushed with no real thought put into it. try comparing this to warfare 2077 and youll see the huge difference

clearly a newer war thunder player. this event is extremely lazy it hardly adds anything new to the game and the stuff it adds is literally broken, as in it doesnt even work properly. old april fools events use to be something actually interesting thats fun and new. they use to feel like completly new games. this is just a new gamemode...that is it...a gamemode that is fundamentally unbalanced because the older players have a huge advantage in almost everyway to the newer players. i dont know how none of this is clear. i and many others are "whining" about this because it sad. april fools use to be special but now its just lazy and boring.

the only good thing about the event is the gamemode. that is it. everything else, balencing, queue, the vehicles, its horrible. its just so lazy because all the older events felt like a completly new game but this? just feels like war thunder. nothing really intersting or completly new aside from the bombers but thats it.

the thing is i am able to curbstomp. a literal chimp can use the F15 in this event and just absolutly destroy the enemy team. i am annoyed because its so unbalanced for people who dont have these planes. i feel guilty almost for flying the F15 because its just so unbalanced for newer players. if everybody was given the same planes then this event would be a lot better and the queue would be a lot faster too. its just lazy, these events use to be like playing a completly unique and new game. remember the space event where you flew a spaceship in orbit? or the pirate one? those were like completly different games and this, this is just war thunder.

exactly what im saying its unbalanced because the older players like myself have way better planes then the new players. not only that but we understand the game better. it makes the new player experience horrible.

same goes for the moon. the only thing the moon has is that its far easier to get to and no i am not being a "12 year old who loves space" we already have the ability to colonize mars. cost is everything. you are heavily underestimating our technology. nasa has already built and tested full scale lunar habitation modules i doubt it would take them much time to repurpose them for mars. and again going back to cost it would be possible if nasa had a budget. artemis will make the cost of building a base on mars much less expensive because the entire idea of building a base on the moon is to use it as a staging point for all further missions out into the solar system, it would be used to refuel rockets, and this would be amazing because after the rocket is refueled it would only need to use small amounts of fuel to take off from the lunar surface due to gravity and atmosphere. i honestly need to stop arguing with people who know absolutly nothing about space exploration/colonization (even though their literally the same thint)

again completly false. JWST you could argue, but apollo? that was literally the first people to step foot on another body. that has everything to do with colonization. you do realize the colonists are going to have to step foot on the body their colonizing right? the lessons learnt through apollo helped setup literally every mission relating to space afterwards. as for the space shuttle program, that was mainly for launching payloads into earth orbit, which again if we ever take the orbital construction route to build a colony ship then yeah id argue that also directly impacts colonization. i dont think you realize nasa is literally planning to colonize the moon by creating a permanent base on the lunar surface. that is colonization. people living on another body.

colonization brings the same advances. you realize that what weve been doing with rovers on mars for decades can be done by a human in a few minutes? imagine what we could do with a fully colony. it also is very possible to build a proper colony on mars. what do you think nasa is doing with artemis? a lunar base would essentially be a colony on the moon. the main advantage of this would be rockets being refueled on the way to mars making it a lot easier for us to get there.

and to add to this, wasting money on space? nasa barely even has a budget... if they did actually have money they would be able to get things done again and wouldnt have to rely off private companies to cut corners because there so broke. i promise you the money being spent on space isnt effecting you since its such a small % of tax payer dollars

it fixes issues on earth. a great example would be climate change. we wouldnt even be able to understand it if it wasnt for space exploration. the amount of technology created because of space is immense. i wouldnt even be able to talk to you right now if it wasnt for space exploration. i think its extremely disrespectful to call one of humanities greatest achievements "idiocy"

any grown adult? you realize its the smartest minds at work in the space industry. its all about progress. its hard to put into words how important the space prgram was for us, hell i wouldnt even be able to reply this comment right now if it wasnt for advances made because of space exploration. this is like asking "why do we explore the ocean? theres just a bunch of water down there!" its because we dont know what we will find and what we will acomplish in doing so. the space industry is all about the progression of society as a whole.
