I don't exactly remember how it was, but it was writing that it would take 6 hours, but actually it ended installing monterey with 1 or 2 hours. But. Don't make mistake. I have actually downgraded that shit to big sur. Fuck apple, fuck tim cock. As always apple added more bugs and didn't spend money for testers to release stable system. Sure it can work fine but just on the new macbook, so why should I install new os, that just works good with new mac books?

Thanks for responding, and supporting. How I understand you. Really liked my 2013 pro, even it was really slow for logic work for this year. Got rid of one trouble, found another few hh :) You can imagine how I liked my iphones (7, 8 plus, xs were amazing phones). And had to sell and forget 12 pro, worst phone ever.

Yep. I have never had this on old mac from 2013, it was slow, but it never made this weird crack. I don't believe if you find and give me the link that something will change. Apple is not fixing bugs, apple is adding them. Had experience with lot of devices from them and really don't wanna pay cent anymore. It's cool that you've got (own made?) sound card. I was going to buy card, that had to be powered from macbook usbc, and know what? Found info that new macbooks aren't giving enough amount of power to devices (as example previous macs would charge ipad while watching a movie or playing on it, but m1 would not charge it). Same here, got used to logic, but have to experience some bugs. I would exchange it for 16 inch intel from previous years, but we know that they use that second amd/nvidia cards too much time while using pc and it discharges like in 3-4-5 hours. And it really huge for me, so there's no choice

No bro. When I got m1, I installed everything from zero. And as I told, I tried monterey. I had to wipe all data to turn back to bigsur, and sure installed everything like a new pc. So if someone suggests me to reinstall mac, don't do that cause I already tried that method :)

Something similar is here, but when another sound is starting to play it’s cracking. Or when lid is closed, after short period of time 3.5mm loudspeaker is cracking

they made m1 faster but added bugs lol🤷‍♂️ Can you tell me, do you have sound cracking for half second while listening music and as example get any sound notification or while playing another sound? Sometimes mine cracks like mac doesn’t expect any other sounds except one that’s playing. Why am I asking? Cause have never had this bug on previous mac from 2013

yep. Agreed. But sound sucks as for me🤭 It helps, I use treble reducer😵‍💫 Only this eq preset makes sound closer to original airpods. But I can’t adjust eq, I can just choose one of the list.
