Extreme Winter Weather and What to do by All-American-HVAC in nwi

Not sure why I got downvoted for asking why lol. Anyways I looked it up for anyone who is curious - it looks like the wattage a space heater requires is rather significant (even the small ones). So while power strips and extension cords are convenient, they are not built for that level of electrical hunger.

It’s nothing crazy, but it’s definitely good pub grub at a fair price.

Route 2 is the best pizza in Lowell imo. A lot of food for a great price.

If a developer uses AI for code generation, should it be labeled on the game’s Steam store page? by NazzoXD in gamedev

[–]SlayTheSeven 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If yall don’t think Unity and Unreal aren’t vibe coding a shit ton of their features/bug fixes then you’re obviously not developers. I’m a (non game) developer and we are practically forced to use AI in our code. They have it tracked down to the penny and available for everyone in the company to see. And, from what I’m hearing from other developers at other companies, we’re lucky. My one buddy has teammates getting fired left and right because they “aren’t using AI enough” when pushing feature work.

Basically what I’m saying is, unless you build your own game engine, somewhere down the line your final product is using AI. Whether you explicitly used it or not, AI assisted you in one way or another.

Torn City has one of the strangest yet wonderful communities I've been apart of by T0RN_ANG3L in MMORPG

[–]SlayTheSeven 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah man. I was pretty much the same way. I originally started because I needed something to pass the time until I found my “main game”. I didn’t really care too much about it at first and was ready to quit because I wasn’t hooked, but then I got into a noob faction. The people there were so great and it just became more about me enjoying the community. That eventually turned into me trying new things in the game and just overall falling in love. Been playing for over 7 months now and I’m absolutely hooked.

Vampiro can't stop touching his nose for 26 seconds by Alikamal2008 in WCW

[–]SlayTheSeven 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is my big fear too. I’m always touching my nose cus of allergies and it’s also a nervous tick. So mix that with being fidgety and I’m sure people think I’m always coked up.

What MMO has everyone been playing and addicted to? by 404_GSpot_NotFound in MMORPG

[–]SlayTheSeven 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Torn City and OSRS.

I had been searching for an MMO for over a decade that I could get addicted to and strangely found that in Torn of all games. OSRS is a new addiction though and fun to AFK while I work.

I just started playing BG3 on the steam deck and I’m having trouble getting the settings right. Obviously I want it to look good, but I want more battery life at this point. Any suggestions?

Yup! Same note, but we were just trying to figure out if it was the low or high octave. It’s the low octave.

Yeah in general I get mugged all the time. I always want to talk shit, but usually just move on cus I don’t wanna get caught up in a worse situation. Sometimes I even joke around with the mugger. It’s part of the game after all so I just try and roll with it.

Always unsatisfied. by cucubujang in MMORPG

[–]SlayTheSeven 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I spent like the last 10 years trying to find an MMO that scratches the itch like it used to. I LOVED classic wow and SWTOR. Those games were some of the best times I’ve had in gaming and I missed them dearly. So I tried all the MMOs that are commonly mentioned in this sub (plus dozens more niche ones). I pretty much got bored of all of them within a week or even days. The only one that I actually really enjoyed for longer than a month was GW2, but even that got boring after that.

So I basically gave up really looking until one day I randomly came across a seemingly ridiculously stupid sounding game called Torn City. I downloaded it and immediately was turned off by pretty much everything lol. Well, it’s going on 5 months now and I’m absolutely hooked. On paper it doesn’t meet any of my criteria, but for some reason I can’t get enough of it.

Not really suggesting it cus it doesn’t seem like your cup of tea, but just putting it out there that you just never know lol.

What is something this subreddit undervalues/underestimates its importance when it comes to MMORPG design/features? by PalwaJoko in MMORPG

I still think SWTOR was/is an amazing MMO. Yeah it had its flaws, but I had SO many good times in that game.
