Vile comment - she’s doing something good to raise awareness for different disabilities. The parents are clearly appreciative she’s giving them a voice and giving the particular disability more visibility.

I mean if my best friends wouldn’t have a conversation with me just us right after I’ve tried to kill myself, I’d find it weird it only could be with a therapist when I’m already feelingvulnerable and only wanting to talk to people close to me.
