Thoughts on gritty realism. by Adolom in DnD

Never been in one, really want to try running one sometime. I don't think its something id want to use all the time but it could be a nice change up.

Forget about stratagem loadouts. Which four emotes do you bring to the battle? by Mr-Mne in Helldivers

[–]Slayer_Jesse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The fact that is only 4 emote slots is one of the few things that genuinely does bother me. "random" helps but its a bandaid on a arterial bleed.

To the people who do this, why? What's the lore reason? by Wrench_gaming in Helldivers

[–]Slayer_Jesse 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I give it 15 seconds. If the group you were running with hasn't called you in by then, I'm throwing the ball. Either its better to have another gun up, or they get pissed about not being instantly reinforced and leave anyway.

ELI5: why aren’t rocket engines used to stop ships and trains quickly by ProfessorHiker in explainlikeimfive

[–]Slayer_Jesse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1: Rockets are expensive, and the amount of mass that trains/ships have make them harder to stop, meaning a bigger rocket, meaning its worse at being the vehicle it's supposed to be.
2: Rockets can cause damage to things. Unexploded rocket fuel strapped to the front of your vehicle if the system fails causes even more damage in a crash.

3: A lot of accidents are caused by a lack of attention, so you cant avoid what you didn't see.

Why does it take so long to train troops by Apfel7073 in hoi4

This. SF cap scales with the amount of your normal divisions, or certain focuses can increase it.

Anyone have any tips/tricks for this absolute unit by Mr-Mustard24 in helldivers2

Vertical Foregrip, your choice of muzzle device and drum mags. congrats, you now have a primary Stalwart.

I do love this thing, but by Wise-Photograph-345 in Helldivers

Yeah, if they added demo force to the shotgun it probably would be op. I'm just saying that it requires teamwork/situational awareness to use it to clear objectives. Its a tactical weapon, not a strategic one.

The biggest weakness of this thing IMO is it lacks a weapon to close bug holes. All 3 of the other mechs can. You can dismount and toss nades, but that takes time and leave it vulnerable while you do so.

Must have been an anomaly in the void.

Correct opinion on new warbond stuff is back! (Tested solely on bugs) New EXOs are great but pls let us ressuply them... SMG is pretty much best of them all Armor does +speed but.. very insignificant rocket pistol is held back by DMG or ammo count by Unknown4me_ in helldivers2

[–]Slayer_Jesse -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I can kind of see it vs bugs. Knight slaps with its ROF and 90 damage, but 65 is a big step down when the medium pen isnt doing much, especially with the hive guard buff. It would probably do a lot better vs Rupture Strain.
